Chrissy Teigen has an uncomfortable point of view when it comes to global superstar Ariana Grande working with her husband, John Legend, on the set of The Voice. The 28-year-old newlywed is coaching contestants for the first time this season alongside John, Kelly Clarkson, and Blake Shelton. Though Ariana's always been a fan of the show, she recently admitted that coaching is much more difficult than she initially believed, especially considering she's the only coach this year that doesn't have experience in the red chair. That being said, Ariana is loving the surprise aspect of turning for voices that are unique to her ears.

It's typical for the celebrity judges to have silly banter that pokes fun at one another, especially during the blind auditions when they're going head to head to create their teams. But it seems as though there's no bad blood between Ariana and Kelly, whose relationship more so resembles a sisterhood. During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Kelly discussed how she loves Ariana's witty personality. She also praised the international pop star for prioritizing her vocal health, which is a new issue discussed on the series. According to the veteran judge, the live audience roars as soon as Ariana walks out, which is a testament to her loyal fan base.

Hours before The Voice premiered on NBC last Monday, Chrissy told her fans on her Instagram story that it must have been incredibly "awkward" for John to begin working with Ariana due to his family's love for her music. "Today is a bit of a funny day because it's the premiere of The Voice, and John absolutely knows that this house only listens to Ariana Grande," Chrissy said laughing. "Imagine how awkward it is for John to live in this Ariana Grande household... and have to be him." Ariana didn't publicly respond to Chrissy's video, but she did post a screenshot to her Instagram story of Chrissy asking for Team Ari merchandise. Chrissy reposted the direct message screenshot to her own story.

Chrissy continued to share her excitement for this season as she has no idea how the blind auditions went. The busy mother of two didn't have an opportunity to join her husband on set while filming took place. Though Blake took home the win last season when Nick Jonas was in Ariana's spot, the country star is feeling a bit nervous now that Ariana is here to play. On her own talk show, Kelly asked Ariana how she felt about Blake, John, and herself being "terrified" of her because her loyal fan base is going to make it impossible for any other coach to stand a chance when voting begins. Ariana denied Kelly's opinions as facts, reminding the American Idol winner that she is the Kelly Clarkson.

Chrissy may think her husband working with his new co-worker is awkward, but fans of the show are hyped up to see the rather private international star showcase more of her personality in an unscripted format. Now that The Voice has begun, Chrissy should take her husband's new connection as an opportunity to set up a meet and greet with Ariana on a future date. In the meantime, it seems like Chrissy will be getting some Team Ari merchandise, which leaves the question: will this supermodel support her husband or her favorite artist this season?
