10 Loud House References To Your Favorite Cartoons

“The Loud House” was one of the most popular Nickelodeon shows of 2016 and we can’t wait until the third season! The show features the Loud parents, and their 10 girls and one boy. Chris Savino, the creator behind the show, decided to give a tribute to some of the best cartoons out there, including “Spongebob Squarepants,” “Futurama, ”Hey Arnold,” “Peanuts,” “Dexter’s Laboratory,” and even more Spongebob!

Let’s start with “Spongebob Squarepants!” There were so many references to the show, we had to split them into several parts! Have you ever noticed that Lola has a trash can with a star-shaped design that looks similar to Patrick? We’ve also noticed Patrick and Spongebob on the TV while the girls were fighting for a remote! Chris Savino really loves Spongebob!

The show also makes a quick and very subtle reference to “Hey Arnold!” If you love the show, make sure you rewatch the episode where Lincoln goes to the community pool. Along with some of the minor characters from other cartoons, you’ll also be able to spot Grandpa Phil from “Hey Arnold!”

“The Loud House” gives more than just a reference to “Dexter’s Laboratory”! It looks like the two shows share the exact same script! Remember the episode of Dexter where he wishes he could have a brother instead of a sister? Lincoln has the exact same wish!

Along with “Spongebob Squarepants,” “Futurama,” Hey Arnold,” “Peanuts,” “Dexter’s Laboratory,” make sure you watch our video to check out the other references we managed to find in “The Loud House!”
