Vicki Gunvalson of The Real Housewives of Orange County usually says it how it is. Known to be a pot-stirrer, the reality television star is one of the RHOC cast members fans love to hate. The RHOC alum shared a lot of her private life on reality television, including relationships. When the show first aired in 2006, Vicki was married to husband No. 2, Don Gunvalson. When the marriage fell apart, she moved on to Brooks Ayers, who she dated for various years, before she met her now ex-fiancé Steve Lodge.
The “OG of The OC,” as Vicki likes to call herself, was dating Steve since 2016, and got engaged to him in 2019. However, the couple called it quits in September 2021. Elsewhere in the Bravo-verse, Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent was ending her engagement to now ex-fiancé Randall Emmett, due to cheating allegations on Randall’s part. Steve also allegedly cheated on Vicki with a younger woman, and therefore Vicki can relate to Lala and her breakup with the Hollywood producer. It appeared however that Vicki doesn’t waste any time — especially hers — and already moved on to a new love interest in her life. Vicki’s son-in-law Ryan Culberson posted a video of her and a mystery man spending time together over the Christmas holidays.
As Us Weekly recently reported, Vicki has commented on the Dear Media Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast’s social media, after Lala appeared on the December episode talking about her breakup with Randall. Vicki allegedly compared her former relationship with Steve to Lala’s previous relationship with Randall. “Sounds very similar to the man who stole almost 6 years of my life that I will never get back,” Vicki commented on the Dear Media Studio Instagram. “So hurtful, so wrong.” Although Vicki might have already moved on, her ex-fiancé Steve announced he’s newly engaged to Janis Carlson, only a few months after his breakup with Vicki.
Steve told Us Weekly, “We are completely head over heels in love and can’t wait to be husband and wife. Janis is a beautiful person, inside and out. We have incredible chemistry, we’re very compatible, emotionally connected and have mutual respect for each other. We are equally yoked and look forward to happiness.” Ouch. Looking at Steve, it appears as though Vicki and Steve were never an item prior. A source close to Vicki told the magazine, “After he told her this, she was traumatized. It ruined her.” However, another insider stated that the two “had not been getting along for a long time.” Although the couple publicly announce to be cordial with each other by wishing each other well, Vicki later accused Steve of cheating, and stated in October, “He’s been flaunting around my town in OC making out in public places. It’s disgusting.”
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum might not be gossiping on the Bravo reality television show anymore but that won’t stop Vicki from taking her thoughts about fellow Bravolebrities to social media and making it about her, although the heartfelt social media comment was meant to be sincere. Maybe fans can soon hear Vicki on either Lala’s- or Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave and Tamra Judge’s podcast.
