The Vertagear PL6800 gaming chair is ideal for anyone looking to match comfort with style. Designed with people of larger sizes in mind - up to 6'8" and 400 lbs, in fact - the PL6800 is spacious and works great for keeping comfort levels high during longer gaming sessions. As part of Vertagear's P-Line of gaming chairs, the PL6800 allows users to remain comfortable thanks to lumbar support designed to prevent back pain and to help with circulation.

Like the best gaming chairs on the market, the Vertagear PL6800 is easy to assemble. With patented "slide-in" hardware, the company's trademarked Effortless Assembly stays true to its name. The Vertagear PL6800 only took around 20 minutes for one person to fully assemble after opening the box. The only real hitch came when trying to line up the backrest onto the corresponding brackets while trying to install the custom M8 screws. Getting all the holes aligned took the longest amount of time - around 5 minutes or so. It wasn't a huge delay, but it definitely took more time than any of the rest of the chair's assembly. Regardless, the Vertagear PL6800 is one of the easiest gaming chairs to assemble.

The focus of the Vertagear PL6800 is comfort, and on that front, the chair totally delivers. The ContourMax Lumbar is great for back support and the fabric (called HygenX, which comes with odor control and antibacterial functions) is soft. yet firm. The cloth is certainly breathable and feels cooler than a lot of PVC leather chairs, but it still runs hotter than a mesh gaming chair. If there's a downside to the PL6800, it's that it could breathe a bit better.

The seat, which uses the signature VertaAir technology, means there's air flowing to facilitate pressure relief. With adjustable chair heights and the ability to lock the backrest in, users can fit the chair to their body shape. There's also an adjustable memory foam pillow that straps around the headrest and a washable pet hair remover - a nice addition that keeps the fabric clean. The armrests, also adjustable, can be rotated around for additional support.

What this boils down to is a sturdy gaming chair that prioritizes comfort above all else. Thankfully, the Vertagear PL6800 also looks sleek, which means owners get a gaming chair with a cool design, too. At $549.99, it's a good price and means prospective buyers won't have to sacrifice comfort for style - the Vertagear PL6800 is the best of both worlds.
