Warning! Spoilers for Spider-Man: Spider's Shadow #3 by Marvel Comics below.

In a reality where Spider-Man became corrupted by the Venom symbiote after bringing it back to Earth, the alien creature just found a new, dangerous host in Mister Fantastic of the Fantastic Four. In the latest issue of Spider-Man: Spider's Shadow by Marvel Comics, Venom bonds with Reed Richards after Peter Parker is finally separated from the dangerous symbiote.

Spider-Man: Spider's Shadow is a brand new story from Marvel's revival of the classic "What If...?" line. In the story, the comic imagines what would happen if Spider-Man kept his Venom symbiote instead of it going to Eddie Brock after he returned to Earth in Secret Wars. The dark story featured Peter Parker becoming corrupted by the symbiote, as he ended up killing some of his greatest villains - including Kingpin, Scorpion, Shocker, and Rhino. In the latest issue, J. Jonah Jameson successfully splits Peter from the dangerous alien suit, but in doing so, it went to a host who might be the most dangerous ever.

In Spider-Man: Spider's Shadow #3 by Chip Zdarsky, Pasqual Ferry, and Matt Hollingsworth, Spider-Man has a deadly encounter with the Sinister Six, which results in the deaths of Mysterio and Rhino - as Eddie Brock's Doc Ock and Kraven the Hunter survive the encounter. J. Jonah Jameson saves Peter but the symbiote attaches itself to his car and ends up in the Baxter Building. In a horrifying scene, the alien creature has overtaken Reed Richards (and Ben Grimm) and is shown Venom-ized while suggesting he can save all of the symbiotes.

Venom Fantastic Four

Among all of the hosts the Venom symbiote has taken, Reed Richards is without question one of the most dangerous. Not only does Mister Fantastic have amazing powers, but his genius-level intellect gives Venom an all-new way to think, approach, and enact his plans. Case and point, Richard is seen releasing what appears to be a Carnage-like symbiote - as well a number of others -  into an incubator-like container.

Venom Symbiote Fantastic Four

While Spider-Man was turned into a one-man killing machine after being influenced by the Venom symbiote, under Reed Richards, it has the potential to create its own army. What's also bad news, is if Mister Venom-tastic ends up successfully bringing more symbiotes to life, then there's a good chance the rest of the Fantastic Four - and other heroes in the Marvel Universe - could be the hosts for his alien's friends. All-in-all, not only could Reed Richards be the most dangerous Venom ever, but he could turn his entire family into horrifying symbiotes too. Spider-Man: Spider's Shadow is in stores now.
