Eminem appears to have a tie-in song with Venom. Sony is attempting to launch a cinematic universe of their own, one that could potentially one day rival the MCU or DCU. This wannabe Spider-Verse will begin in October with the release of Venom, and they have stacked the film with plenty of talent. Most of the attention has gone to the film's star, Tom Hardy, who plays Eddie Brock. However, he's been paired with Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer to help bring the anti-hero to the big screen properly.

Hardy is supported on screen with talent like Rogue One's Riz Ahmed or multiple Oscar-nominee Michelle Williams, just to name a few. Behind the camera, there's plenty of MCU regulars making up the crew, as well as Black Panther's composer. It turns out, Ludwig Göransson won't be the only musical talent lending his skills to Venom, though.

Eminem seems to have confirmed through a quick tease on Twitter that he'll have a song with Venom. Making an original song for a movie isn't an uncommon practice for Eminem, but it does give the movie just another big name to throw at audiences to try and generate interest and excitement. Check out what should be a brief snippet of the song below:

No further details on Eminem's Venom tie-in song have been revealed so far. The rapper last wrote an original song for a movie in 2015 for Antoine Fuqua and Jake Gyllenhaal's boxing movie Southpaw. Whatever the song is, the one from Venom will likely become a bigger hit due to the wider audience that Venom is hoping to attract. However, it remains to be seen if the song is actually featured in the movie or just plays over the credits.

Now that Eminem has announced his involvement with the film, it does raise the question if other artists will be featured as well. Eminem is still a high profile arist, but there are others out there who could be viewed as bigger gets. Since Venom shares Black Panther's composer, it may even be trying to borrow more from the Ryan Coogler-directed flick. Black Panther got Kendrick Lamar to curate an entire album of songs featuring several big name artists, so it will be interesting to see if Eminem is doing something similar here, or if this is just one original song for Venom.
