Fans of Vanderpump Rules know Tom Sandoval as a lovable bartender turned bar owner - but the model and actor is dusting off his performance skills to take on a new movie role.

Tom Sandoval has been a staple cast member of Vanderpump Rules since the show's first season. He has since graduated from bartender at SUR to part-owner of TomTom, which he owns and operates with Ken Todd, Lisa Vanderpump, and Tom Schwartz. Sandoval and Ariana Madix, his girlfriend and fellow bartender, released a book of cocktail recipes last year entitled Fancy AF Cocktails. Sandoval has also ventured into the beauty industry with the men's cosmetic company Stryx.

Now, Sandoval has landed a new role in the Lifetime original movie The Wrong Real Estate Agent. Sandoval stars as Connor, a creepy handyman hired to work on the house purchased by Julie, played by Vivica A. Fox. An clip on ET Online shows Sandoval as Connor, dressed in a white tank top and Hawaiian shirt, appearing in the bedroom of Maddie (Alaya Lee Walton) to ask her which lock he should install on her bedroom door. "He's a little weird, but he's a good man and a hard worker," says realtor Charles (Andres Londono). Sandoval's character Connor also sports a mustache, explaining why Sandoval has been rocking facial hair for the past several months. The Wrong Real Estate Agent premieres on Lifetime on January 1, 2021.

TOM SANDOVAL CRYING VANDERPUMP RULES

Long-time fans of Vanderpump Rules, who were first introduced to Sandoval when he was a struggling model and actor living in a tiny West Hollywood apartment, will be happy to know that Sandoval's hard work has paid off in his newest acting gig. Sandoval's career ups and downs have been featured on the show alongside the changes in his personal life: Sandoval dated fellow Vanderpump Rules star Kristen Doute before beginning a relationship with his current girlfriend Ariana Madix.

Sandoval was part of a tight-knit trio of friends which included his TomTom business partner Tom Schwartz and Jax Taylor. However, his relationship with Taylor has been strained since Taylor's wedding to Brittany Cartwright in 2019. While the future of Vanderpump Rules is unclear due to the coronavirus pandemic, Taylor expressed his desire to film a spinoff series featuring the cast members who are currently expecting babies, including Taylor and Cartwright, Scheana Shay, Stassi Schroeder, and Lala Kent. But although Taylor wanted to exclude Sandoval from future Vanderpump Rules projects, Taylor himself was recently fired by Bravo.
