"The Witches of WeHo are done-zo!" Stassi asserts in an upcoming episode of Bravo's hit reality TV show, Vanderpump Rules. Now that season 8 is in full swing, questions about the feud between longtime friends and cast members Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute are slowly being answered. The former 'Witches of WeHo'--AKA Stassi, Kristen, and Katie Maloney-- have been divided for several months.
Though fans (and the 'Witches' themselves!) have created different theories behind their falling out, it seems the split stems from multiple reasons without a simple answer. While we await their dissolution on screen, let's take a look at five reasons fans have been siding with Stassi, and five reasons 'Team Kristen' could soon be trending!
TEAM STASSI: Stassi Has Too Much On Her Plate To Worry About Kristen
Stassi's had quite a successful year! From her recent engagement to fiance Beau Clark, the release of her #1 New York Times Bestselling book Next Level Basic, and a wildly popular podcasting tour, Stassi has her plate full-- and leaves no room for petty drama!
She and Beau plan to marry in Rome in October 2020, and Stassi has already lined up a string of tour dates for her Straight Up With Stassi podcast. She recently revealed on her podcast that she doesn't even have sex with her fiance, so helping Kristen sort her relationship woes won't make it to top priority!
TEAM KRISTEN: Stassi Wrongfully Glazed Over Their Mutual Friends
Stassi and Kristen's mutual friends, comedian Rachael O'Brien and friend Zack Wickham, who have made brief appearances on Vanderpump Rules, recently spoke out on the status of their friendships. On her podcast, Be Here For A While, Rachael recently interviewed both Kristen and Zack as they recapped the season 8 premiere, and the trio weren't shy about Stassi's indiscretions!
Zack and Rachael say Stassi began to ignore them, Rachael admitting flat out: “I didn’t know we weren't friends, I just thought she was busy.” Rachael also stood by her friend Kristen, saying she "doesn't want an apology", and no longer wishes to be friends with someone who can act like that!
TEAM STASSI: Kristen Never Learns From Her Mistakes
Kristen never seems to learn from her mistakes, no matter how many she makes! “I feel like every episode that I watch, I’m kind of waiting to see a private conversation between Katie and Stassi or for one of them to talk to someone else and say what this reason is because I really don’t know,” Kristen told Us Weekly about their fight.
While Kristen's seemingly in the dark behind the reasoning of their falling out, Stassi talks about needing space on her podcast, saying she needed to take care of herself and her wellbeing first and foremost.

Did Stassi just rain on Kristen's hometown parade? Hollie and Sarah, hosts of the popular podcast Vanderpump Rules Party, discussed Stassi's recent release of her upcoming tour dates on this week's podcast, and the potential shade it throws at Kristen.
Kristen and Rachael have known they will be hosting a show in Detroit on February 19th, but Stassi just announced a new podcast tour date, also in Detroit, alongside Brittany Cartright and Jax Taylor, a fellow Michigan native. Stassi's show falls just one week after Kristen's, which questions her intentions.

Although season 2 seemed like eons ago, the bombshell that Kristen and Jax hooked up will never leave Stassi's mind. Kristen slept with her best friend's ex-boyfriend (Jax), who almost landed back with Stassi, and cheated on Tom Sandoval, who had been Jax's best friend for 10 years!

During an interview with HollywoodLife at Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval's Fancy AF Cocktail book launch, Kristen opened up about the status of the 'Witches': "Katie actually texted me the day that my book came out for pre-order on Amazon, and she sent me a screenshot that she had pre-ordered it and texted congratulations. And I thought that was over the moon sweet of her and I really appreciated it.”
When asked if Katie was being influenced by Stassi's contempt, Kristen replied: “Could be, or not. I don’t know. Katie’s definitely no one’s minion. [...] I mean maybe it’s just a respect thing for Stassi because Katie’s definitely kinder to me and more friendly than Stassi is,” the Vanderpump Rules star revealed. Fans have always recognized the spell Stassi puts Katie under, so it's no surprise Katie has stayed loyal to Stassi amidst the feud!
TEAM STASSI: Kristen Believes Her Newly-Single Status Is The Culprit For Stassi's Dismissal
Through a recent interview with Us Weekly, Kristen confessed that she believes Stassi dumped her as a friend because Kristen is no longer in a relationship. "My [point of view], and I hope that I’m wrong, but it kind of feels like as I’m watching these episodes, and it felt like over the summer, that Stassi was on this high horse of being in this now perfect relationship and now she’s getting married and everything’s great,” Kristen candidly tells the magazine.
"Lala has Randall and Brittany has Jax, Katie has Tom and ‘OOP, here’s single Kristen, well that doesn’t fit with our group now. You can’t be in our pregnancy pact.’ But I don’t need a man to do everything that I’m doing." Kristen's theory on Stassi's disapproval is nothing new, as fans have speculated this "coupled-up" theory for a while, though Stassi slams the suggestion.
TEAM KRISTEN: After Introducing Her To Beau, Stassi Ices Kristen Out Of Her Engagement Party (And Most Likely Wedding!)
After Beau proposed to Stassi in a cemetery last August, fans were skeptical when Kristen was absent from the celebrations. She wasn't at their engagement party, which seemed to begin their public feud. Stassi told Us Weekly last week: “I’m not going to invite someone [to my wedding] that I’m not even really speaking to or hanging out with. But I’m not not inviting her.”
Kristen did introduce the two after all! Stassi regularly credits Kristen as the person who introduced the recently betrothed. Kristen said not being invited to the wedding would be the "final nail in the coffin," while Stassi promises: “of course I would want Kristen there, but I think we need to get to a point where it would be normal for her to be there.”
TEAM STASSI: Kristen *Does* Have A History Of Fighting At Weddings!
As Stassi decides whether or not she's inviting Kristen to her upcoming matrimony, it's hard to forget Kristen's misgivings during castmate Scheana Shay's wedding week! It began when she brought Miami Girl to SUR, only to cause drama in hopes of tearing apart Ariana and Sandoval. Scheana was furious, pointing out Kristen's intent at breaking up her wedding party.
The drama didn't stop there! Kristen ended up punching then-boyfriend James Kennedy in the face after getting into a screaming match in the parking lot. It's rumored that Kristen also started a scene at Jax and Brittany's recent wedding in June 2019.
TEAM KRISTEN: It's Widely Believed Stassi/Katie Are 'Punishing' Kristen By Cutting Her Out
Stassi recently admitted to Life & Style she believes the 'Witches' feud would be temporary. "We kind of just felt like, ‘OK, we need a break and that’s it.’ And we love her still and care about her, but it’s just break time.” Fans speculate Stassi and Katie feel the need to "punish" Kristen, cutting her out from their lives as a result.
