The Vanderpump Rules alum Stassi Schroeder got married during the lockdown, and it's time to talk about why she is planning a second wedding in Europe. Stassi was pregnant (and recently fired from her job for allegations of racism) around the time that she and Beau Clark tied the knot in 2020. However, now that their daughter is over the age of one and the pandemic restrictions have started to ease, Stassi wants a re-do on her wedding day. The axed show star teased her plans for a more elaborate wedding ceremony than she had the first time around.

Stassi and Beau had been planning an autumn 2020 wedding in Italy when their whole world was turned upside down. Stassi was pregnant with their first child and the world was in lockdown because of the global pandemic. To make matters worse, Stassi got fired from Vanderpump Rules during the height of the pandemic, after Faith Stowers revealed the racist mistreatment she suffered years before, at the hands of Stassi and Kristen Doute. With racial tensions escalating following the murder of George Floyd, Bravo moved swiftly in axing Stassi, Kristen, and two newcomers who had their old racist tweets resurface. Between her pregnancy, a pandemic, and getting fired for racism and discrimination-related allegations, Stassi opted to get married in a small and private ceremony.

Now that the dust has settled, Stassi is preparing to get married again, and she is planning to stay true to her initial wedding plans. Stassi's recent Instagram Story confirmed her second wedding plans. “Decided to put on this iconic [Keeping Up With the Kardashians] wedding episode to get inspired for our upcoming European nuptials… and then…” Stassi captioned the photo. It confirmed that the show alum is trying to celebrate her union as she initially intended, before the pandemic put a dent in her wedding plans.

Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark

Beau popped the big question in what ended up being Stassi's last season on the show. It was after she introduced him in season 7. The following year, Beau proposed to Stassi inside of the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, in a nod to Stassi's love of horror films. The couple ended up having a shotgun wedding just a few months before they welcomed their daughter Hartford Charlie Rose Clark. The controversial Stassi continues to engage with her loyal fans after her firing, and she shares aspect of her life journey on social media.

She was one of a group of show veterans who conceived and then welcomed children within months of each other. Stassi and Beau were the first to welcome their daughter in January 2021. Lala Kent and Randall Emmett followed up with the birth of their daughter Ocean Kent Emmett in March. Just one month later, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright welcomed their son, Cruz Taylor. It is clear that the fans who watch Vanderpump Rules have been disappointed by the absence of alums like Jax and Stassi, who helped make the show more entertaining. However, the axed alums are keeping their fans updated on social media, and many followers are excited about Stassi and Beau's second wedding.
