With Stassi Schroeder making her newborn daughter's Instagram debut on Thursday night, her former Vanderpump Rules co-star Katie Maloney revealed her godmother role. Katie was excited to let fans know that she's baby Hartford's 'god mama.' Fans are sending their love and praise to Stassi after she shared the first shots of her daughter on Instagram.
The former Bravo star had been pregnant in quarantine for most of last year after she was ousted from the show amid the series being on pause due to the pandemic. She, along with Kristen Doute, Max Boyens, and Brett Caprioni, was given the boot by Bravo due to her involvement with separate claims of racial insensitivity. For Stassi and Kristen's part, they were accused of having called the cops on former cast member Faith Stowers and accusing her of a crime she didn't commit. Stassi was also under fire for old resurfaced episodes of her podcast where she said controversial remarks about racism and the Me Too movement. As a result, she was fired from Bravo and let go by her PR and management firm. While all this was happening to her at once, she announced her pregnancy and married her husband Beau privately.
Earlier this month the newlyweds announced the addition of their daughter Hartford Charlie Rose Clark. On Thursday, January 21, Stassi made baby Hartford's Instagram debut. “It’s her two-week birthday and I feel like I’m finally ready to share my little girl. Meet Hartford Charlie Rose Clark, the best thing that’s ever happened to me," she shared in the post's caption. "My heart is so freaking full. I can’t believe I get to keep her," she added in excitement. Fellow OG cast member Katie Maloney hopped in the comments expressing her love for Hartford and revealing her role as godmother. “Ahhh my little God Daughter," Katie wrote with a series of exclamation marks. "She’s so beautiful and I’m so happy for you and Beau!!!” Stassi replied to Katie confirming her role as godmother. "God mama."
Other former cast members shared their love in the comments as well. “I can’t wait to snuggle her," wrote Kristen. "We love you, Hartford!” Jax Taylor, who left the show last month, wrote, “So sassy already.” His pregnant wife, Brittany Cartwright, wrote, “Beautiful sweet angel!!! We love you so much, Hartford!!” The pregnant cast member had revealed the pregnancy pact they had made. Along with Stassi and Brittany, Lala Kent and Scheana Shay are also expecting. Kristen recently shared how "nervous" she feels about not being able to become a mom and the stress she is under about conceiving.
Now, with Stassi's pregnancy being over, that leaves Lala, Brittany, and Scheana up next to welcome their new bundle of joys. Many fans are hoping the OG's snag their own spin-off surrounding their new journeys into parenthood.
