Stassi from Vanderpump Rules denies ever being a racist even after her old Nazi picture and ultimate firing from the show. Fans are still on the fence whether the star has learned her lesson.

Since being fired from Vanderpump Rules, Stassi has had ample time to educate herself on the issues. After losing her starring role on the Bravo show and her podcast the reality star has stayed silent for the past three months. Stassi was let go due to her cruel joke against Faith Stowers and racist acts. Fans were disappointed with the New Orleans’ natives’ attitude towards the whole ordeal.

Stassi broke her silence on the Tamron Hall Show, letting her fans know she was deeply sorry for how she acted. Tamron asked Stassi what the reasoning was for finally speaking out. She replied saying, “Honestly, now because I needed time to process my feelings. I needed time to process what happened. I feel like one of the most frustrating parts when this all went down was that people expected me to just understand everything immediately and things like that take time.” Check out the video below:

Stassi made it clear that she felt that it would be easier for her to understand everything if she took some time to herself before deciding to open her mouth again. Stassi let viewers know her true feeling on cancel culture saying, “I’m someone who messed up quite a few times. I am the reason why I’m in this situation. I think a lot of people wanted me to focus on cancel culture and whether I was a victim or not, and it’s just not how I feel at all.” Fans were happy to see the Bravo star take some responsibility for her actions. As for being labeled a racist the star admitted that this has been the hardest part of the ordeal for her. Stassi revealed that “Throughout this whole thing, I’ve recognized I’ve never felt that I was a racist, I don’t have hate in my heart but I’ve recognized that I wasn’t anti-racist. I wasn’t. And that’s something I’ve been learning throughout all of this.”

Not all viewers were fully convinced that she had learned her lesson and point out that she had a long history with issues of being politically correct. Fans will recall she once posed in a picture and captioned it “Nazi chic.” While the interview was a good insight for fans, many still think she has a long way to go before totally redeeming herself.
