Stassi Schroeder is speaking out about the racially insensitive incident that got her fired from Vanderpump Rules and claims others were involved. It's nearing two years since Stassi and Kristen Doute were fired from the show along with two newcomers because of their insensitive racial actions. Stassi and Kristen were axed for calling the cops and accusing Faith Stowers of a crime she didn't commit while Brett Caprioni and Max Boyens were fired for resurfaced racist tweets. With the revelations coming amid heightened racial tension, Bravo moved swiftly to remove the four cast members from the show.

The reality series hasn't been the same since the firings. However, many were outraged by the disturbing details of what Faith experienced as the only Black cast member in the show's history. It was after her messy hookup with Jax Taylor that she was seemingly targeted by the ladies and turned into public enemy number one. But when Stassi and Kristen called the cops, assuming Faith was the same Black woman they saw on the news stealing, the two OGs took the feud too far. However, they got away with the mean girl behavior because no one knew it happened. Once Faith revealed the encounter in 2020, fans called for their firings, and Bravo acted.

Now, two years later, Stassi is addressing the scandal and the other cast members she claims were involved in the racially insensitive incident. “I mean the cast members I’m friends with, everyone was there, I mean they witnessed… Lots of other people were a part of what went down,” Stassi revealed on the Skinny Confidential Him and Her podcast. Stassi claims that "more people" were involved in the incident that got her and Kristen fired. But the two OGs "were not gonna take people down with us," Stassi explained. The two axed alums felt like the unnamed culprits got "lucky" by not getting "called out" the way she and Kristen were. “I think they were feeling lucky that they didn’t, that they still had a job," Stassi said.

Stassi credited her friends for trying to save her job and get the network to change their minds, to no avail. She was fired during the middle of her pregnancy. Stassi tied the knot in September 2020 in a private ceremony in her backyard and welcomed her daughter a few months later. Earlier this month, Stassi and Beau Clark celebrated their second wedding ceremony in Italy, where she was initially supposed to get married two years ago. Stassi had to drastically cut down her guest list to only 35 people since she didn't have a major television network footing the bill as originally planned.

The show has continued in Stassi's absence. In addition to the four firings, Jax and Brittany Cartwright exited the show in late 2020, and Dayna Kathan also decided to quit. Vanderpump Rules was also recently greenlit for season 10. The shocking revelation might have changed the show forever. However, production is moving forward with trying to create new memories.
