Ahead of the Vanderpump Rules season 10 premiere, Bravo has released the new opening credits sequence, to mixed reviews from viewers. After the season 9 reunion, which aired over a year ago, there was uncertainty if The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills spin-off would continue at all. For a while, it was speculated the old format would be scrapped for a new series titled Vanderpump Valley. But the show is indeed returning soon, and for the first time since it premiered a decade ago, the opening credits have a completely new look.

The Bravo Instagram page posted the new opening credits on Thursday, February 2nd, about a week before the return of Vanderpump Rules season 10. The clip was captioned, "The new #PumpRules intro is chef’s kiss (if I do say so myself)." While the theme song remained the same, the credits had a very different look. Unlike the old sequence, it wasn't solely filmed inside SUR. Instead, it included the other restaurants that have opened since the show began. Now, the credits open with shots of Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval's establishments,TomTom and Schwartz & Sandy's. Some commenters weren't impressed, writing, "So sick of the Toms" and "Selling Sunset wants their zoom videos back." Instead of a group shot, the final image was the Los Angeles skyline. One thing that stayed the same was queen bee Lisa Vanderpump being the last cast member shown, but someone commented, "a little upset that Lisa isn’t tossing a coat or purse as she walks in."

Bravo stars Madison LeCroy and Louie Ruelas commented their approval. Some viewers were also sold, writing, "I love it! I can't wait!" and "Let’s hope this is a good omen for the season because this intro is amazing." Others were more skeptical. The more negative comments included, "Ugh I guess it was time, but the old format was classic," "This is not it, but thank you," and, "I hate this intro and where is Brock [Davies]?" Another viewer called the new credits "cute," and "rad," but criticized the lack of diversity. "When you lose half the people from the OG cast," another complained, "[it's] just not the same. It’s time to let the show go." Even a positive comment wished Stassi Schroeder was still on.

The new credits reflect how Vanderpump Rules season 10 will be a reset. Most long-running Bravo shows undergo changes like cast shake-ups. But VPR viewers were shocked when original cast members Stassi, Jax Taylor, and Kristen Doute were fired amid allegations of racially insensitive behavior. Jax's wife Brittany Cartwright, who joined in season 4, was also let go. Two years later, the credits hinted at more changes. Brock was missing after driving much of the drama last season. Fan favorite Charli Burnett, who teased the upcoming season on social media, was nowhere to be found.

The cast members that do appear in the credits, however, are set to bring lots of drama. Vanderpump Rules season 10 will feature Katie and Schwartz's divorce, as well as his subsequent makeouts with Raquel Leviss. The trailer showed Lala crying over the many allegations against Randall Emmett. And while she isn't in the opening credits, James Kennedy's girlfriend Ally Lewber will appear alongside Raquel, his ex-fiance. It remains to see if these conflicts bring enough juicy drama to keep the skeptical viewers tuning in.
