Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay is considering another child with fiancé Brock Davies. The new parents welcomed their daughter, Summer Moon Honey Davies on April 26. Though their baby was born healthy at 6 pounds, 12 ounces, the reality star revealed she was diagnosed with a serious medical condition prior to going into labor. Scheana told her fans that her blood pressure was extremely high right before the birth and she was induced 24 hours prior. After running some tests, Scheana was diagnosed with preeclampsia, which is a typical pregnancy complication. However, her health issues worsened and developed into HELLP syndrome, which can be life-threatening.

While Scheana is enjoying her life as a new mother, she couldn't be out on maternity leave too long as Vanderpump Rules begun filming season 9 in May. The new mama will be following in her co-star LaLa Kent's footsteps, as she also welcomed a baby girl named Ocean this year. But Summer wasn't the only big news Scheana had to share upon her return to set. The 36-year-old reality star also said yes when Brock got down on one knee. The parents started dating shortly after filming for season 8 wrapped. They met in San Diego in 2019 and after a few months of dating, made their relationship Instagram official by posting a boomerang from their Hawaiian getaway. After experiencing a miscarriage, the couple celebrated their one-year anniversary. Just two months later and the couple revealed they were expecting. After Summer was born, Brock decided to pop the question.

In a new interview with E! News, it seems like Scheana and Brock have baby fever. And while Scheana admits baby number 2 isn't coming anytime soon, the couple is considering alternative options to expanding their family. "I did get really sick after I had [Summer] and I got diagnosed with HELLP syndrome. So that something that I'm high risk to happen again and that's something that's just very scary. So I don't know if I necessarily put myself at risk again." Scheana added that she and Brock have started discussing other options such as unfreezing her eggs and turning them into embryos for a surrogate, or just adopting. "Definitely open to expanding the family, just not sure how or when."

As for her new bundle of joy, Scheana shared her 5-month-old is growing up quickly. As of this week, Summer is reaching up to signal that she wants to be carried. Scheana also notes that her daughter definitely knows and recognizes her name, and has the cutest giggle. "I didn't really know what to expect. You know, you go from being pregnant for what felt like a year to now all of a sudden you have this tiny little human who relies on me for everything," she said. "So the late night feeds and breastfeeding and then balancing that with filming four days after I got home from the hospital, I didn't really know how easy it was going to be like." That said, Scheana believes her motherly instincts came natural because she has wanted to be a mom for so long.

Despite her dramatic past, it appears that Scheana is transitioning into motherhood just fine. It's also nice to hear that Scheana is prioritizing her health over rushing into expanding her family. It will also be exciting for Vanderpump Rules viewers to see the new reality star moms in action on the upcoming season of the Bravo show.
