Movie producer Randall Emmett has been spotted for the first time since his split from Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent. Lala recently celebrated a successful book signing, and hasn't shied away from other public appearances. But her former fiancé has kept a pretty low profile.
Lala and Randall, who share baby daughter Ocean, were engaged for three years before splitting last week. Breakup rumors started when photos surfaced of Randall partying with two other woman while away in Nashville. Shortly after that, Lala's followers noticed she had deleted all pictures of him off her Instagram grid. She also posted a very telling IG story checking into a hotel. Lala, who admitted their relationship made no sense, soon confirmed the split. Randall hasn't been heard from or seen... until now.
Page Six reported that Randall was spotted by paparazzi on the morning of Tuesday. This was his first public appearance of any kind since the break-up with Lala was confirmed last week. The 50-year-old was photographed in Los Angeles, taking a phone call while standing in front of a dumpster. The producer was described as having a "tense" conversation on his phone, which lasted about twenty minutes. The paparazzi photos showed him looking a bit agitated. It's unclear if the phone call had anything to do with his personal drama, or was about something unrelated. Meanwhile, the tabloid also reported that his ex-fiancé was in much better spirits at her first public appearance: the book signing.
Lala, who recently celebrated three years of sobriety, was overheard calling herself a "smart bitch" while speaking to a supportive fan. Since then, the Give Them Lala author has been photographed out-and-about in Los Angeles, even looking at apartments. She has noticeably not worn her engagement ring.
Still, many longtime viewers are remaining skeptical that this breakup will really last. After all, this wasn't the first time Lala deleted all photos of her man off social media. They also briefly split before, which was chronicled on season 7 of the Bravo series. But there is also something different in play this time, which is Randall's alleged infidelity.
Lala's own relationship with him was said to have started as an affair, although she maintained he was legally separated when they met. After news broke of the split, sources claimed Randall has always lived a double life, acting like a single man whenever he's away from a significant other. Time will tell if Lala, who liked a post about Randall cheating, eventually forgives him. For now, however, it appears this was the final straw.
