Vanderpump Rules has never not been exciting; the show's premise was definitely key to its success and also set the bar high for workplace reality TV, but the cast too has delivered on every front to keep things entertaining.

Many pivotal names like Lala Kent or James Kennedy weren't exactly part of the OG squad; Stassi Schroeder, Scheana Shay, Jax Taylor were headlining the show's first season and here are the most iconic moments of the original cast of Vanderpump Rules .

Ariana Madix: Her Clash With Tom About Her Cocktail Book

Ariana is easily one of the most easygoing members of her squad who often acts as the peacemaker for her friends. But during a particular discussion in season 6, she put her foot down and told her boyfriend Tom how she wanted things to be, and even called him out for rolling his eyes. The fight got nastier as Tom insisted that though Ariana has bartended for a decade she has the reputation of a ‘grumpy cat,’ and Ariana called Tom a ‘bitter Betty.’ Ariana took offense at the suggestion that Tom should be the one releasing the book and not her. Fans are not used to see Ariana retaliate but this was a memorable scene as they got a glimpse into how Ariana handles personal arguments.

Tom Sandoval: The Cocktail Audition

When Lisa decides to host a high-stakes annual party at her property, Tom Tom (her two bartenders Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz) are put to the task of curating cocktails for Liza and her husband Ken. One of the best things about the show is that it takes an honest look at the hard work that goes behind all the glitz and glamor and also behind the food and beverages industry.

Tom Sandoval is not just an OG cast member but also a renowned bartender; in this scene Tom is seen hard at work sourcing every ingredient for his cocktails and also putting his best foot forward with his signature mixes. In fact, though Tom was only asked to create three cocktails for the audition, he made a lot more as he really wanted to create an impression.

Jax Taylor: The Argument With Lisa

Fans have often accused Jax of reacting too impulsively, no matter what the situation. His season 7 argument with Lisa actually proves this point and may be one of the most memorable Jax scenes as it suggests he is not afraid to speak his mind, irrespective of who’s in front of him. Lisa was talking to Jax’s girlfriend Brittany about their past tensions and Brittany was actually trying to smooth things over between Lisa and Jax, since Lisa had expressed that she felt disrespected by him. Jax interrupted the conversation which made things awkward as Lisa bluntly commented that she has no time for his negative energy. Jax, on the other hand, said that he is here to apologize for his past behavior. “I didn’t hear the apology,” Lisa quipped. Later during the confessional Jax said that he would never win over Lisa as she still treats him like the ‘old Jax.’

Stassi Schroeder: The Tense Reunion With Lisa

Stassi Schroeder looking emotional in Vanderpump Rules

This was perhaps one of the most tension-laden moments on the show especially since fans never expected Stassi would try to reconcile with Lisa after their nasty fallout. Stassi joins Lisa at lunch and tells her that though she’s the last person Lisa probably wants to see, she'd like to apologize. Lisa was clearly still hurt over Stassi’s betrayal as she said that she’s had Stassi’s back ever since they met, when Stassi was 22. The scene grows very interesting as Stassi appears to be very humble in front of Lisa, but turns against her in her confessional.

“She gave me a job as a waitress and I’ve served a few hundred crispy chickens in my time, and poured some wine. What do I owe you again?” Stassi said. Stassi tries to get up and says to Lisa, “I know you hate me.” To which Lisa replies, “You’re not important enough to hate, sit down.”

Katie Maloney: The Reunion Fight With Lala

Lala Kent and Katie Maloney from Vanderpump Rules

Katie has never shied away from saying what’s on her mind, which has earned her a few allies and quite a lot of enemies. Katie and Lala’s relationship started on a really bad note as she said a lot of things about Katie even before they knew each other, especially about her looks and her relationship. In the season 5 reunion, Andy Cohen asks Lala why she launched unprovoked attacks against Katie, to which Lala replied that Katie had also said a lot of mean things about her before they met, recalling one particular incident when she slut-shamed her based on her profile picture. But Katie actually triumphed over Lala during the altercation as she had no real comeback which could explain why she’d been so mean to Katie and the squad, even before she had gotten to know them.

Scheana Shay: Her Fight With Katie And Tom

Scheana usually tries her best to keep things peaceful even when she's trying to explain herself. But during the big season 6 fight where she was called a 'bootleg Kardashian' by Katie's boyfriend Tom, Scheana did not hold back. She lashed out at Katie for being fake, because according to her she had spent the last year criticizing Lala and was currently on a 'redemption tour' and wanted to be in Lala's clique. This was one of the most iconic Scheana scenes because she broke down her feud with Katie and why they are no longer friends

Lisa Vanderpump: Her Iconic James Diss

James Kennedy in a black tee

This is one of the most hilarious scenes in Vanderpump history; fans know Lisa is the only one who could give James a reality check. When Lisa and James sit and discuss Jax, James implies that Jax got away with anything which offends Lisa. "I actually don't need any help from Pipsqueak busboy in running my business. So thank you James Kennedy but I will pass on your managerial advice," she said at the confessional. The scene actually got funnier as Lisa reminded James that his mother asked her to give him a job and he may be asked to go back to his busboy days if he doesn't grow up.
