Vanderpump Rules has officially announced its new cast members with the opening credits and some behind-the-scene shots. On October 1, the cast members all joined up at SUR to shoot the new season’s opening credits segment. Along with them was the newest cast members of season 8.

Rumors of the new cast members have been swirling around the internet for the past couple of months, but fans were sure it was official when Tom Schwartz, who’s been a series regular since 2013, posted to his Instagram story. The photos he posted were of the cast during their shoot. In addition to the original stars, three new names and faces have been added to the mix.

Bravo has now officially announced (via: Us Weekly) that Max Boyens, Dayna Kathan, and Brett Caprioni will be joining the entire returning cast, save for one. Fans noticed that previous cast member Billie Lee, however, was absent from this season’s lineup. She previously confirmed her departure from both Vanderpump Rules and the restaurant back in July. Billie's stated reason for leaving is that the bullying and drama that occurred on and off camera became too difficult to handle and that it brought on a lot of insecurities. She said it also resurfaced a lot of depression and suicidal thoughts she had had before she transitioned. However, Billie did not give the name of the coworker who bullied her.

July also gave fans their first sneak peek at the new cast members. Dayna Kathan previously showed up in one of Lala Kent’s Instagram posts, introducing the new SUR waitress. Lala captioned it as: “Two OG’s & our new bad b*tch.” Dayna posted a similar photo on her Snapchat around the same time captioned, “Poolside powwow,” alongside Lala Kent and Ariana Madix. Bravo had no official announcement that she was joining the show until now.

Some fans are already somewhat familiar with new cast member Max Boyens. He is the general manager of TomTom, the restaurant that is owned by Schwartz and Sandoval as a collaboration with Vanderpump. Max was previously romantically involved with Scheana. The other newbie, Brett Caprioni, is a SURver and YouTuber. He is friends with Peter Madrigal and dated another fellow YouTuber, a makeup artist by the name of Carlie Bybel.

Fans will get to see how all of Vanderpump Rules' fresh blood mixes with the returning cast when the show returns later this year. Bravo hasn’t yet announced when season 8 of Vanderpump Rules will premiere, but fans are expecting it to hit television around its usual air dates between November and December.
