Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd have had a long and joyful marriage that started long before she became known for Vanderpump Rules. The couple met over 30 years ago and has been going strong ever since. Lisa often notes that Ken settled down from his wild and crazy single days in order to be with her. From parenting their children Pandora and Max to running businesses across the US, Ken and Lisa have been fiercely loyal to one another through everything.

During their years on Vanderpump Rules and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the pair have stood by each other's side. When Lisa's longtime friend Kyle Richards went head-to-head with her in their renovated kitchen, Ken called out Kyle for being fake to Lisa and famously said, "goodbye, Kyle." While Lisa likes to poke fun at her and Ken's intimate life - or lack thereof - the jests are all in good fun and reflective of the pair's long-term chemistry.

Ken and Lisa famously met back in 1981 in London and were engaged just six weeks later. After a short three months, they got married. Lisa is Ken's second wife, and he is 16 years her senior. With so many decades behind them, the quick progression seems like it was love at first sight. Lisa told Daily Dish, "I think relationships do change, and they do evolve." With that said, Lisa believes that it's important for partners to "support each other through the evolution." Lisa and Ken probably never thought they'd go from Vanderpump Rules to COVID-19 vaccinations. Lisa also said that stepping into the spotlight was aided by Ken's endless support. He has shadowed during all of her filming from Bravo to CNN and Good Morning America. Lisa also credited Ken as very secure in his masculinity with such a high-profile spouse, noting that he has often been wrongly called Mr. Vanderpump. Lisa chose not to change her last name out of a preference for her own and a desire to differentiate herself from Ken's former wife. Ken joked off-camera that he might change his name to Vanderpump.

Lisa also attributes the success of their marriage to their ability to work as equal partners across life's many chapters, even when evading drama from RHOBH. Especially with their age difference, Lisa was particularly appreciative of how they both got an equal say on things. In fact, during their vow renewal ceremony, Ken called Lisa "the most honest, loyal, and reliable person I know." He also teasingly reiterated his willingness to obey her, harking back to Lisa's authoritative presence in any room she enters. While all seemed smooth sailing for Lisa and Ken since their exodus from RHOBH, some legal troubles caught headlines earlier this year. Lawsuits waged by former staff said Lisa and Ken refused to pay wages and provide meal breaks. Since August 2021, the rumors that Lisa and Ken were breaking California labor laws have mostly died down. However, certain ongoing lawsuits have yet to be fully resolved.

While the future remains murky in terms of the couple's lawsuits, it is clear that Lisa and Ken will face any obstacles that come their way as a united front. Such a beautiful marriage is rare in Hollywood, and even more so among celebrities. Hopefully, the new season of Vanderpump Rules will feature more insights when it comes to Ken and Lisa's next chapter.
