Where do Lisa Vanderpump and Stassi Schroeder stand after the latter was fired from Vanderpump Rules? The two had a sometimes rocky relationship throughout the Bravo series. Who could forget Lisa telling Stassi that she wasn't "important enough to hate"? In later seasons, they were much friendlier, with the New Orleans native often citing her former boss as an inspirational figure. But did her exit from the series sour their relationship?

Stassi, alongside Kristen Doute, was fired from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills spin-off last summer. Amidst the Black Lives Matter protests, Kristen and Stassi's past racially insensitive actions against fellow cast member Faith Stowers resurfaced. Bravo took very swift action in removing the two original cast members, and they weren't the last cuts to be made from the series. Season 8 additions Brett Caprioni and Max Boyens, who faced backlash for offensive tweets, were removed as well. Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright followed, though the spouses claimed they actually quit. Over a year later, Lisa revealed what happened when she finally spoke to Stassi.

Lisa shared updates about the situation exclusively to Us Weekly. Regarding her former employee, she revealed, “I actually ran into her...I did say, ‘Yes, I called you back and I’ve called you and reached out to you.’" As to how the meeting went? Turns out, there's not bad blood. LVP went on to say, "She was very friendly.”  Sources previously revealed that the Next Level Basic author did not blame Lisa for her firing.

On Stassi and the other fired cast members, Lisa said, “I wish them all well. I do...I also think they needed to learn a lesson about, you know, respecting other people’s point of views and having empathy and looking at other people’s lives, not just through their own lens. Personally, I think a lot of people need to learn that.” Earlier this year, the Vanderpump Dogs founder defended Stassi as "not a racist."

Lisa is also confident the show can keep going despite the massive cast shakeup. “It was always about an ensemble cast and that’s what it is, very much so,”  she explained. “It’s definitely a show that keeps moving and hopefully we continue to do so...You definitely do see a lot of SUR and some new people.” Earlier, she teased some upcoming drama between Scheana Shay and her fiancé Brock Davies. Vanderpump Rules season 9 has reportedly wrapped filming. As of right now, no official premiere date has been announced.
