Following her breakup, Lala Kent from Vanderpump Rules admitted she is traumatized by her relationship with ex-fiancé Randall Emmett. The pair began their relationship in 2015 after they met at a party. The two immediately hit it off, but Lala had to be coy about their relationship. Randall was in the middle of a separation from his then-wife Ambyr Childers, therefore leading Lala to refer to Randall as "my man" on the Bravo series.

After his divorce was finalized, Lala began opening up about her relationship with Randall. She revealed his identity and started to bring him around her friends more. Less than a year after they went public with their relationship in 2018, Randall proposed to Lala while on vacation in Mexico. The pair were set to tie the knot in April 2020, but they had to postpone the wedding due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, the former couple welcomed their first child together a year later. However, their happy little family didn't last long, as Lala confirmed her breakup with Randall in October.

During a recent interview with Melissa Gorga on her new podcast Melissa Gorga on Display (per E! News), the 31-year-old said she was "traumatized" by her breakup with the film producer. "This whole experience has been traumatizing, and it haunts me daily," Lala told The Real Housewives of New Jersey star. She explained how she was shocked how she "could feel so safe with someone and to have a conversation about starting a family" when he was lying to her the whole time. Lala, who shaded Randall on Instagram, added that she felt safe enough with Randall to "bring this beautiful innocent life into the world," and it's hard for her to cope with the fact that he's not the person she thought he was.

The reality star also spoke about her 9-month-old daughter Ocean, who she shares with Randall, and how her daughter has brought her so much strength during a very difficult time. Lala said she just looks at her baby girl and knows she needs to be strong for her. While the breakup came as a shock to fans, it wasn't as shocking to Lala. She told Melissa that she and Randall, who reportedly cheated on Lala, had been fighting since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. After splitting for good, Lala started to turn to her faith and has found comfort in trusting God's plan for her. She added that she "sleeps well at night," knowing she has a higher power looking after her.

Lala is having a tough time processing her breakup with Randall for how the split was caused. She thought Randall was her forever person now that they welcomed a daughter together. Now that she's been burned by someone she trusted with her life, Lala may have a difficult time trusting anyone again.
