In the new Vanderpump Rules season 9 trailer, Lala Kent confronts the cast about not giving her a heads up about Randall Emmett's ongoing infidelity. The new season began with Lala was on the heels of motherhood as she had recently welcomed her daughter Ocean. The 31-year-old finally felt content in life, as she had a loving fiancé, a beautiful baby girl, and was in the middle of planning a wedding.
Overnight Lala's world completely changed in October 2021. Lala confirmed her breakup with Randall after rumors began to circulate that the two were on the rocks. Shortly after the news broke, Lala moved out of the home they shared together and into her own place. Since the split, the reality star has been very open about the downfall of her relationship and how she has been dealing with being a single mother now.
When the VPR season 9 reunion was filmed, Lala was fresh off her breakup with ex-fiancé Randall. He was accused of cheating on the reality star with multiple women throughout their relationship. "Randall Emmett creeping around on me? That should've been brought to my attention," Lala, who believes Randall didn't support her sobriety, tells her costars in the new season 9 trailer, which can be found on E! News. "The fact that this man...he made feel safe enough to bring a child into this world. I feel disgusted." Lala bared her soul to her castmates and even shed a few tears while speaking of the rumors against her movie producer ex-fiancé. The trailer quickly moves to the rest of the cast to show their reactions to the cheating scandal.
Fellow castmate James Kennedy reveals he had heard "some sexual rumors" about Randall in the past, with Brock Davis later chiming in to say that Randall, who lied about Lala's engagement ring, was more interested in flying around in "private jets and hanging out with Machine Gun Kelly" than spending time with the mother of his baby girl. Lisa Vanderpump couldn't end the conversation by giving her two cents about the situation. She said, "Sometimes the way you get them is the way you lose them." Lisa was clearly implying that there was an overlap between Randall's marriage to actress Ambyr Childers and his relationship with Lala. However, the reality stars former relationship wasn't the only topic of conversation during the reunion. The cast will also discuss the demise of James and Raquel Leviss' engagement. In the trailer, Raquel revealed she's having "nightmares" about their wedding and is even shown removing her engagement ring. James and Raquel announced their split in December 2021 after five years together.
The VPR season 9 trailer covers a lot more than the demise of Lala's and James and Raquel's relationships. The reunion will also discuss arguments between Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney, as well as Charli Burnett and Scheana Shay. So far, the reunion is already more exciting than the whole season.
