Lala Kent revealed that Ariana Madix had a "meltdown" over their conversation about Tom Sandoval on Vanderpump Rules. Before his affair with Raquel was revealed, Lala tried to confront him over not being there for Ariana when her grandmother died. Now it turns out there was a much more emotional side to that interaction that happened off-camera.

On her Give Them Lala podcast, Lala revealed that Ariana was "furious" at her for initiating the conversation. In fact, the 37-year-old tried to shut down filming the Vanderpump Rules scene. Lala recalled Ariana exclaiming, "‘I’m not doing this. Production always tries to do this to my relationship.'" Cameras stopped rolling due to this "meltdown." While she planned to confront Sandoval over his behavior with Raquel, Lala decided against it due to his then-girlfriend's reaction. At one point, Ariana told Lala, "'You don’t know mine and Tom’s relationship...in all fairness, we never see you.'” Then Sandoval joined the conversation as filming resumed.

Lala Kent Admits Vanderpump Rules Episodes Were Re-Edited Post-Scandoval

As viewers saw, when Lala exposed Sandoval's lies, Ariana admitted to her then-boyfriend that she felt "like a f***ing idiot." She also told business partner Katie Maloney that she trusted both Sandoval and Raquel. While Lala was already suspicious of the duo, she didn't think there was a full-blown affair already underway. The beauty mogul previously said Vanderpump Rules season 10 episodes weren't edited post-Scandoval but admitted there was some tweaking this time. She revealed that her suspicious confessionals were new and that some of the extra-damning scenes hinting at the affair weren't in the original cut.

Lala's behind-the-scenes scoop goes along with Andy Cohen's explanation for what Vanderpump Rules producers knew about Scandoval. Andy also said production went along with Ariana's insistence that Raquel wouldn't betray her like that. Lala revealing that the Something About Her co-owner outright refused to film because she thought producers were meddling in the relationship is also telling. It could indicate that Ariana had some suspicions about Sandoval's infidelity but was in denial. The most recent episode proved how much she trusted Raquel, as the former beauty queen shockingly asked Ariana in-depth questions about her intimacy with Sandoval.

That episode, which was originally meant to be the Vanderpump Rules season 10 finale, focused on Raquel's feud with Katie over Tom Schwartz. This also upset Ariana, who cried over the explosive conflict between her close friends. Kristina Kelly yelled at Sandoval to comfort his girlfriend. But he was more interested in going after Katie for standing up for herself against Raquel. The cover band singer also put Ariana down and shared doubts about their relationship. Both his and Raquel's actions look more indefensible with each episode and show how little they cared about Ariana, who was already going through a difficult time.

Viewers will get to see the affair's aftermath in the Vanderpump Rules finale on May 17. After that, Ariana will make her long-awaited first post-Scandoval Watch What Happens Live appearance. Sandoval and Raquel were reportedly eviscerated at the reunion, which begins airing the following week.

Vanderpump Rules airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
