Lala Kent is opening up more on post-breakup clarity following her split with Randall Emmett. In her recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live!, the Vanderpump Rules cast member revealed her reflection on Emmett’s former marriage to Ambyr Childers. Kent shared how she felt about Childers and showed her support.
Back in 2015, when Kent and Randall started their relationship, Childers was still in the picture. At the time, she and Emmett were on the verge of finalizing the divorce, and Kent had to be discreet about her relationship with the film producer. You actress Childers and Emmett were married from 2009 to 2017 and had two children between them. Once the divorce was finalized, Kent and Emmett went official, and she introduced him to her group of friends. There was, however, little drama between Kent and Childers at one point, beret the mom-of-who called her out on social media to stop posting photos of her kids. Within one year of their relationship, Emmett was ready to take it to the next level as he proposed to Kent. The two would later postpone their wedding ceremony because of the novel coronavirus and welcome a daughter the following year. Ultimately Kent’s union with Emmett never became official, as they called things off in October 2021.
With the relationship now behind the both of them, Us Weekly shared that Kent let fans know on WWHL that she had a new perspective about her relationship with Emmet’s ex-wife, Childers. She also opened up on their similar experiences sharing that she felt like their road was bumpy. The Tv personality added that she felt a lot of compassion for the Ray Donovan actress. Kent gushed over Childers, referring to her as a great woman and a great mom. She ultimately described the TV actress as the best thing that ever happened to [Emmett] that guy. Kent, who has not communicated with Emmett since the breakup, reevaluated how she and the Lone Survivor producer began their relationship. Kent shared that it was gross and messy and just something that was built on nothing but lies. Kent, who bonded with Childers’ kids when she was with Emmett, stated she had not been in touch with them since the separation.
Besides these revelations she made to Andy Cohen on WWHL, Kent has had more tell-all moments concerning her former relationship with Randall. The Utah native shared a week ago that there was a laundry list of red flags concerning Emmett that she ignored. She claimed that Emmett was never home and was secretive about his cell phone. The star added that she lost a lot of herself in the relationship owing to the fact that she met him at a young age. She also insinuated that her independence was somewhat taken.
Since the breakup, fans of Vanderpump Rules have been privy to many details of Emmett’s alleged cheating scandal, although he seems to have stayed off further scrutiny. Unlike him, Kent has been vocal about all she overlooked and proof that he cheated on her. Yet, through it all, the Give Them Lala author might just be looking to move on and be the best mom for her little daughter, Ocean.
