It's been just over a year since Katie Maloney-Schwartz watched her friends get fired from Vanderpump Rules, but she already wants them back on the show. Stassi Schroeder Clark and Kristen Doute were two original cast members of Bravo's spin-off of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Stassi left the show in season 4 before returning in season 5, while Kristen was finally let go from her job at SUR in season 3. While the two girls were staples among the cast, Stassi and Kristen were eventually fired from the network in 2020 after falsely reporting co-star Faith Stowers to the police. While it hasn't been confirmed why Brittany Cartright and husband Jax Taylor won't be returning to Vanderpump Rules after this season is done, the two have been embroiled in their own drama since Brittany signed on in 2015.

As a close group of friends during and after filming Vanderpump Rules, Katie, Stassi, Kristen, and Brittany have been seen together several times since the summer of 2020. Just three weeks ago, Katie, Stassi, Brittany, Lala, and Kristen were pictured hanging out together for New Year's Eve. A few days ago, Katie also stuck up for Lala Kent when fellow reality star Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi from Shahs of Sunset branded her a cheater. Speaking out for her friend, who separated from Randall Emmett a few months ago due to infidelity, Katie made it clear that those who did not have anything nice to say about Lala should mind their own business. On Vanderpump Rules, Katie has been shown to be a loyal and dependable friend multiple times. One glaring example occurs in season 6: Stassi hits a breaking point at her birthday party, which ends up in Katie attempting to chase her down the street before Kristen steps in.

Now in another interview with Page Six, Katie reveals that despite her friends' past public controversies, she still wants to see them back on Vanderpump Rules. Calling season 9 "definitely a different season overall," Katie said that filming this time around was a new type of experience because “It was minus some of the people [she] had been on this journey with for a long time.” Recognizing her "selfish" point of view, Katie continued, “I still see them all the time. I still hang out with them all the time. So, it would be nice to have that part of my life still be present on the show.”

Katie's thoughts seem to be shared with the other women, with Stassi and Kristen uploading a photo of the three "Witches of Weho" together in honor of Katie's birthday. On Stassi's post, the now 35-year-old gushed, "My sisters… I love you both so much. Where would I be without you both. The memories are STACKED! Here at the Belmont with you, where we have made the most memories. I’m emosh." Kristen wrote, "This is f###ing adorable" while Brittany responded with a series of heart-eyed emojis. While all three failed to reply to Kristen's version, fans flocked to request the original trio back; many viewers complained that Vanderpump Rules has not been the same since the gang stopped filming together.

Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules is almost over, and fans are eagerly awaiting the two-part reunion on Tuesday and Wednesday. Featuring a reinvented ensemble cast, including Katie, her husband Tom Schwartz, Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix, Lala Kent, James Kennedy, Raquel Leviss, and Scheana Shay, viewers are ready to see what questions Andy Cohen has in store for them. Future seasons of Vanderpump Rules have yet to be announced, but with Brittany already not returning, Katie shouldn't get her hopes too high for her friends.
