Katie Maloney is reportedly "annoyed" over Tom Schwartz and Raquel Leviss' hookup and is "blaming" Scheana Shay for possibly setting the Vanderpump Rules stars up. Tom and Raquel have been the talk of the town after word got out about their flirty behavior at Scheana's wedding. Scheana and Brock Davies tied the knot in Cancun last week and were joined by members of the SUR gang. With Scheana's wedding coming on the heels of a number of breakups, there was bound to be some type of drama.
But the last hookup anyone imagined would be between Tom and Raquel. The two have been friends and acquaintances for years. However, with both of them recently ending long-term relationships, Tom and Raquel's vulnerability made way for some romantic flames. Love was in the air at the Dreams Natura Resort & Spa in Cancún where Scheana and Brock exchanged their vows. Tom is coming out of six-year marriage with Katie and a decade-long relationship. Raquel and James Kennedy called off their engagement after less than a year once they realized they weren't soulmates.
Tom and Raquel are both single and can mingle with whomever they please. But Katie is still reportedly upset Tom would hook up with someone within their circle of friends and is blaming Scheana for allegedly setting Tom and Raquel up. “Katie is mad at Scheana because she believes Scheana is responsible for Raquel and Schwartz hooking up," a production source told Page Six after confirming that Tom and Raquel "100 percent hooked up." The insider noted how “super easygoing” Tom and Raquel's personalities are and says they “can be a bit passive” at times. So when it comes to who would be bold enough to make the first move, Katie is convinced that Scheana is the one that made it happen. “Katie thinks Scheana’s encouragement gave Raquel and Schwartz the green light to explore a connection," the source revealed.
While Katie isn't upset at Tom for connecting with someone else, she's "very annoyed" that he chose to do it with someone she knows. “She’s just annoyed because he decided to hook up with a girl in their circle of friends,” the insider said. “She’s blaming Scheana." The feud between Katie and Scheana is brewing and fans have their eyes open to what led to the fallout. Brock recently confirmed that Katie was "disinvited" from the wedding and wasn't present to see Tom and Raquel's makeout session. There hasn't been any word on why Katie was snubbed, but viewers will eventually find out.
Scheana's wedding was captured by the cameras and will be shared in Vanderpump Rules season 10. Scheana has a rocky history with Katie that dates back to her start at SUR. But the two have managed to remain friends over the years. Most of the cast and a few alums were present at Scheana's wedding, including Lala Kent, who has been Scheana's arch nemesis at times. But Katie and Stassi Schroeder were noticeably absent. Considering how long Scheana has been frenemies with the two besties, it makes a little sense why at least Stassi was snubbed. However, fans will be curious to find out what caused Katie and Scheana's latest fallout.
