Jax Taylor, Vanderpump Rules' resident bartender and villain, tried blaming the show for being "too scripted" as the real reason he left. But fans found his statement humorous, as almost everyone knows he was actually fired.

Along with being let go from the show, Taylor is also said to owe a lot of money to the United States government. Fans will recall he bought a $2 million Hollywood Hills mansion right next to both Tom’s and Kristen Doute. The star’s problematic behavior did him no favors, as his ties with a conservative priest who spoke out against the LGBTQ+ community were his undoing. Taylor had a love-hate relationship with the rest of the cast, but most were happy to see him go and leave his sneaky ways at the door. The network made the right call by not asking him back after making racist and transphobic behavior comments.

Taylor is still trying to save face, as he told Us Weekly that the real reason he left the show was that he was “irritable” at how badly scripted the franchise was. The reality TV star went on to tell readers that he knew it was time to leave the show after his eighth season because the story started to feel unnatural to him. Fans find his whole charade ridiculous, especially since he was called out for his terrible behavior.

Taylor revealed that he was “checked out” of the show saying, “It was getting a little bit too scripted for me, and I just couldn’t do it anymore.” The 41-year-old revealed that it just wasn’t fun anymore. Bravo fans had called for his removal due to his bullying ways. In December, Taylor and his wife, Brittany Cartwright, both released similar social media posts about leaving the show. Even Lisa Vanderpump referenced that they were let go from the show.

Since leaving the show, the couple has welcomed their son, Cruz, to the world and are looking at moving back to Kentucky. While the model made it clear that there was no way the couple could film and care for their newborn, Bravo fans were not dupped and knew all along that he was let go from the show. The tides have turned as Cartwright has had to deal with internet trolls attacking her for her weight gain. For now. The Vanderpump Rules star is lying low and waiting for the storms to pass.
