Former Vanderpump Rules star Jax Taylor is allegedly appearing on the new season of Big Brother VIP later this year. The news of his new reality show venture comes months after Jax and his wife, Brittany Cartwright, welcomed their son, Cruz. The baby boy was born in April, seven months after the couple announced they were expecting. The pair are ecstatic to be parents to their little bundle of joy, especially now that they are no longer cast members of the Bravo reality series.

Before Jax and Brittany were fired from VPR, fellow costars Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute were given the ax. In June 2020, Stassi and Kristen were fired from the series after a podcast episode resurfaced of the women claiming they called the police on former castmate Faith Stowers for a crime she did not commit. A few months later, Bravo confirmed Jax and Brittany would also be exiting the series.

Now, The Daily Mail has speculated that the 41-year-old may be joining the upcoming series, Big Brother VIP, after one specific telling sign. The VPR alum recently started following the Big Brother Australia Instagram page. Rumors have been circulating for quite some time as to who will be signed on to appear on the celebrity-only series, and it seems Jax might be one of the cast members. The news outlet has reached out to the Australian spin-off regarding the father of one's involvement, but they have yet to comment on the rumor. Some of the reality star's potential roommates include Home And Away star Lincoln Younes, radio personality Ash Pollard, Holey Moley star and former athlete Matt Shirvington, and many more.

If Jax does sign on for the new reality series, it will be the first show he has been part of since his departure from VPR. In December 2020, he announced in a since-deleted Instagram post that he and Brittany will not be returning to season nine of the reality series. In the caption, Jax praised Bravo and the production company Evolution Media for allowing them to be part of the show, but claimed they decided it was time to focus on their growing family. Brittany also shared the news via her Instagram, expressing gratitude as well and claiming VPR was "some of the most challenging, rewarding and fulfilling years of [her] life." However, they do plan on sharing any future endeavors with their followers, and Big Brother VIP might be one of them.

Now that Jax is no longer a cast member on Vanderpump Rules, he needs to find another way to make a living. Celebrity Big Brother is usually the next step for former reality stars and might help Jax get back into the TV sphere. Nonetheless, fans are excited to see if Jax will join the Big Brother VIP house.
