Jax Taylor has been fired from Vanderpump Rules, and fans are thrilled to hear the news. While Jax may not have seen this coming, Bravo fans felt it was only a matter of time before he was let go.

The popular show which did well in the ratings is still in limbo as executives figure out what to do and if they should renew. A total rehaul of the show is needed since a handful of cast members have been fired and many of the women are about to give birth to children. The show which once was light-hearted and fun lost touch with their viewers and found themselves in a ditch trying to win back their fans.

The network has finally decided to swing the ax and cut Jax Taylor and his wife Brittany Cartwright after many had called for his removal. The two took to their Instagrams to share the news and most likely get ahead of the PR nightmare. While it is still unclear why they were let go, many think it is a good move for the show. Check out his post below:

Vanderpump Rules has not even been greenlighted for the next season, but one thing is for sure, Jax won’t be on it. The 41-year-old had starred on the show for seven years, and his wife was on for four. The showed chronicled their love story and wedding. Jax wrote, “the last eight years on Vanderpump Rules have been some of the most challenging, rewarding, and fulfilling years of my life. Although this is difficult to share, Brittany and I will not be returning for another season of Vanderpump Rules.” He then went on to say, We are excited to take this time to focus on our growing family and share with you our new endeavors. @bravotv, @evolutionusa , and our Vanderpump castmates will always remain close to our hearts.” The couple’s departure does not come as a shock, and many had expected it since Bravo fired Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute for their racist remarks. Fans will recall Jax also tweeted racist comments about Faith Stowers, not to mention the many tirades where he bullied cast members and made fun of mental health issues. Jax was often known as the loveable villain but a bad guy none the less. He not only cheated but often couldn’t control his actions and was a prime gossiper. Not to mention the couple had an issue with Brittany’s pastor, who was homophobic and anti-trans.

Reality shows were put in check after a volatile summer where many supported The Black Lives Matter movement and wanted to see a change in who was given access to their own shows, including the Vanderpump Rules cast members. Many know that reality tv walks a thin line when it comes to its stars since many times, the rudest and most cruel often bring in top ratings. To say that Jax won’t be missed is an understatement. Bravo viewers of grown tired of watching an overgrown man child act badly and still get good outcomes. Maybe Mee-maw’s Beer Cheese will pan out for the couple, but we doubt anyone is interested in a Kentucky delicacy it maybe he can just go back to bartending at SUR, we hear the goat cheese balls are amazing.
