Vanderpump Rules' Jax Taylor spoke out about Tom Sandoval's affair with Raquel Leviss, admitting that Scandoval was a different situation than his own affair. Jax has come a long way, to the point where he is the good guy as well as the wise man who gives advice with his wife, Brittany Cartwright, by his side. He was known as the playboy of Vanderpump Rules after dating multiple women from the cast. Somehow, his Kentucky sweetheart stood by his side, even when he deserved to be left high and dry.

During the conversation, the subject of Tom was brought up, with Jax sharing that what both men did was "inexcusable" but "different." He told his Vanderpump Rules co-star that what Tom did was a "full-on affair," noting that the TomTom owner snuck behind Ariana Madix's back for months and lived a double life. Jax's cheating scandals were just one-night stands with no emotional attachment.

Jax and his wife Brittany opened up about how they personally dealt with the public scrutinizing the father of one's infidelity. Brittany noted that they have come a long way as a couple, sharing she "trusts" Jax. While Brittany admitted it was hard to give advice because every relationship is different, Jax jumped into the conversation to reveal he "hated" himself at the time, noting that his indiscretions were a giant mistake.

News broke in March that Tom had been sleeping with Ariana's best friend, Raquel, since their boys' night back in August 2022. Ariana found out after being handed Tom's phone and seeing messages from the former model. While Tom has since tried to push the blame on her for lacking intimacy, Ariana has not taken the bait. Raquel has gone radio silent in an attempt to distance herself from the drama she helped cause.

Jax was fired from Vanderpump Rules in 2020 after years of being a bully. But Bravo recently asked Jax and his wife back via a three-episode deal with Peacock. The couple is going to be giving full commentary on everything Scandoval during new episodes. While Jax and Brittany may have had some major bumps in their relationship, they have worked through their marital issues with grace and understanding. Now the parents of Cruz hope that their words can help uplift other couples who are currently struggling, letting them know there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
