Bravo has fired longtime Vanderpump Rules cast members Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute over a racist prank against their former co-star Faith Stowers. Faith, the only minority in an all-white cast, was made out as a villain when Jax Taylor cheated on his now-wife Brittany Cartwright with her in season 6. Both Schroeder and Doute apologized on Instagram following backlash, but it was later confirmed that Schroeder didn’t reach out to Stowers privately to apologize.

In one fell swoop, Vanderpump Rules newbies Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni were also fired for unrelated racist tweets. Lisa Vanderpump admitted in last week's VPR reunion that she didn't fire Max and Brett for old racist tweets. She said to Andy Cohen and her employees,"If I fired every one of you that have made mistakes, it doesn't matter to what degree, probably none of you would have a job."

The Schroeder empire began to fall when Stassi was dropped by brands working with the podcast host and author. Her agency and publicist soon followed. Hours later, Bravo confirmed on their Instagram: “Bravo and Evolution Media confirmed today that Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni will not be returning to Vanderpump Rules." Check out the Instagram post below:

During a now-deleted episode of the Bitch Bible podcast from 2018, Stassi accused Faith of stealing credit cards and bragged that she and Kristen tried to get her arrested, calling the police after the Daily Mail wrote a story about a black woman allegedly drugging and robbing men she met in Hollywood nightclubs. Faith explained, "They called the cops and said it was me." Stassi and Kristen attempted to match pictures of the woman in the article with pictures of Faith, and even reported it to the police. Kristen also posted the Daily Mail story on Twitter in April 2018, writing, "Hey tweeties, doesn’t this ex #pumprules thief look familiar? someone put her on mtv & gave her a platform for press. I didn’t wanna go there but I’m going there." Faith said that they thought it was her because it was "a black woman with a weave."

This all comes after an editor for Vanderpump Rules was fired for admitting to purposefully humiliating castmember Scheana Shay and portraying Stassi and her fiance as "special heroes." Stassi definitely won't be getting her all-expenses-paid on-air wedding in Italy, (and how will she pay for that brand new multi-million dollar house?) but the jury is out on whether Lisa will return with the other SURvers for season 9. Part two of the Vanderpump Rules season 8 reunion airs tonight on Bravo.
