This shift started in VPR season 9 during a prank involving a fake-arrest, to which Katie commented that in today's climate, arrests aren't jokes. Though unlikely, given the heightened viewership as of late, should VPR ever be canceled, James has made a lucrative career using his talents as a professional DJ, alongside gaining fans on his side as of late, ensuring that any DJ'ing events he should have in the future would be well attended. While the show adds credibility to his name as a star, James, would not need it to financially survive. That said, if Vanderpump Rules season 11 occurs, many hope James is attached, as his humor and one-liners are vital, as is his support of Katie, whose friendship has become one of the greatest plot twists yet.
