Ariana Madix from Vanderpump Rules does not take kindly to fans questioning her finances on Twitter, as she quickly shot down rumors that Tom Sandoval was taking advantage of her. Ariana has always been a fiercely independent woman. Fans have watched her stand up to Jax Taylor and other cast members on numerous occasions and pledge an oath never to marry. It seems like Ariana has a good head on her shoulders, but would Tom lead her astray?

Ariana and Tom have been in a relationship since 2014 following Tom's breakup with fellow Vanderpump Rules star Kristen Doute. While the beginning of their relationship was dramatic, the rest has been smooth sailing. Ariana and Tom moved out of their small West Hollywood apartment and bought a home in the Valley. The bartenders tried their best to co-write and release a cocktail book featuring their own recipes, but it has yet to hit shelves so far. Tom has always stated he would like a family one day, much to the chagrin of his partner, but the two always seem able to compromise.

On the most recent episode of Vanderpump Rules, fans watched Lisa Vanderpump give some unsolicited advice to Ariana. Lisa's words of wisdom caused such worry for Ariana that she had to take to Twitter to address Tom taking out a home equity loan to finance his new bar. The scene in question showed Ariana reassuring Lisa that her equity in their $2 million home would not be impacted if Tom were to default on the home equity loan. Bravo followers were not completely sold on the idea that Ariana would come out unscathed and took to Twitter to urge her to do a bit more research in order to protect herself.

One fan tweeted that Ariana "clearly doesn't understand how sharing finances works." Most fans agreed that Lisa gave sound advice, and they hoped the restauranter would encourage Ariana to look into the terms of her finances. Ariana inserted her defense into the tweets writing, "I already do. Accountants and lawyers. They do their job very well." Vanderpump Rules fans continued to mock Ariana for her misguided belief that the bank wouldn't take her home. The reality TV star finally had enough and wrote back, "I pay accountants for this reason. That's kind of their job."

Whatever Tom and Ariana's arrangement is, she made it clear in a confessional that Tom was doing the loan on his own and against his own equity. Ariana point-blank revealed that all of the financial responsibility is on him and him alone, and her financial contribution to the home will remain intact. Bravo fans hope that is the case, but one never knows when it comes to risky business ventures.
