Tom Sandoval from Vanderpump Rules had always caught the ladies' eyes thanks to his star power behind the bar of SUR, so when he met Ariana Madix, it was a match made in heaven. The two bartenders often worked side by side and developed quite a rapport. Ariana had always made it clear that she didn't want a conventional lifestyle, and Tom seemed okay to agree to her terms when it came to their future.
Ariana made her debut on Bravo in 2013 when she started working at both of Vanderpump Rules' Lisa Vanderpump's restaurants, SUR and Villa Blanca. The ability to be genuine earned Ariana a main role on Vanderpump Rules next to Tom, who was Lisa's star bartender. The two quickly hit it off, with Ariana gaining some interesting storylines of her own. During Vanderpump Rules season 6, Ariana had an alleged steamy hook-up with Lala Kent, which led to her coming out as bisexual. Ariana's birthdays also became a famous tradition on the show, as the server loved going over the top.
How Vanderpump Rules' Tom Sandoval & Ariana Madix Met
The former couple came on the radar in 2013 when Tom introduced Ariana as a friend during Vanderpump Rules season 2. While it is still unclear how Ariana and Tom officially met, they had an obvious connection. Later on in that same season, Tom's then-girlfriend Kristen Doute accused Tom of cheating on her with Ariana. During the Vanderpump Rules season 2 reunion in 2014, Tom confirmed he and Ariana were an official item. After his time with Kristen, the singer was looking forward to a breath of fresh air and a new life partner.
Vanderpump Rules' Tom & Ariana Make Big Life Purchases
After a few years together living in Tom's bachelor pad in West Hollywood, Vanderpump Rules stars Tom and Ariana decided to buy a house together in February 2019. Ariana and Tom found their forever home in Valley Village right next to Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, Tom Schwartz, and Katie Maloney. After their move, Tom and Ariana published their first cocktail book, "Fancy AF Cocktails." While Ariana had always made it clear that she never wanted children or to get married, she did reveal during the Vanderpump Rules season 9 finale that she had taken steps to freeze her eggs.
Vanderpump Rules' Tom & Ariana's Shocking Breakup
On March 3, information was revealed that Tom was having an ongoing affair with his Vanderpump Rules co-star Raquel Leviss. Ariana had learned of the cheating when Tom's bandmate handed her his phone. Apparently, Raquel's messages led Ariana to send a message of her own to her former friend. Tom has already released a statement acknowledging that the incident occurred, but has yet to apologize to Ariana. Tom, who has his own band called Tom Sandoval and the Most Extras, was spotted moving his belongings out of their shared home, but the rumors ended up being false. Bravo cameras will be catching the fallout and adding the footage to the current season following the breakup.
