Andy Cohen recently hinted that he regrets firing Stassi Schroder and Kristen Doute from Vanderpump Rules.

Fans know Andy for being the host for every Real Housewives reunion and several other shows on Bravo, including VPR.  He has become the face for the Bravo network seeing as he has somehow been apart of most of the shows they air. Not to mention, he also is the host of his own late night talk show on the network, Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

In a recent interview with the New York Times back on December 30, the 52-year-old called the slew of firings a “decisions for that moment.” Andy revealed that it would have been better for the stars to have stayed on and worked through their past mistakes and behavior on screen. “It’s more interesting to sit in the moment with people that you have a rooting interest in and watch them find their way than it is just turning out the lights and forgetting it existed,” he added. Stassi and Kristen were from VPR in June after past racially insensitive remarks resurfaced of the two racially profiling former costar, Faith Stowers. Andy also addressed the controversy that surrounded the pastor that was suppose to marry Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright, reported Us Weekly. He revealed that he was not surprised that "someone’s family pastor in Kentucky was homophobic.” Brittney's pastor, Ryan Dotson, came under fire after his past remarks against the LGBTQ community came to light. Her pastor was later replaced by former N*SYNC member and friend of Lisa Vanderpump, Lance Bass.

Stassi and Kristen weren't the only cast members fired from VPR back in June. Newcomers Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni, were fired as well for their past racially insensitive remarks. Since then Stassi, Kristen, Max and Brett have all sincerely apologized for their past remarks and deeply regretted the things that were said. The following month, Andy spoke about the firings on his Sirius XM’s show, Radio Andy, were he backed Bravo's decision to fire the cast members and believed it was the right thing to do. Later that summer, he opened up about Stassi and Kristen's exits saying he was going to miss them both on the show. He believed both ladies had a great impact on the show and how important they were to VPR. Not only will he miss them on the Bravo series, but he will miss having them as guest on WWHL too.

Will Bravo ever give Stassi and Kristen a second chance or has too much damage been done? Hopefully Andy and Bravo will make room for these ladies on a different platform.
