Since Vanderpump Rules season 9 ended, fans have been keeping up with all of the offscreen drama, such as James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss’ surprise breakup and James Kennedy's whirlwind new relationship with girlfriend, Ally Lewber. While James has revealed his personal life on VPR for the last five years, the fallout from his ended engagement with Raquel (and the beginning of his new relationship with Ally) has occurred offscreen. Considering how the recent season concluded with the emotional cliffhanger of VPR's James and Raquel ending their engagement, fans are curious to know how James is doing and who his new girlfriend Ally is.

Although fans of James are unfamiliar with Ally, they know a lot about him (and his dating history) due to his time on Vanderpump Rules. He started on the show as an upstart enemy of Jax Taylor's. James was notorious because of his drinking habit. Since then, he has grown a lot, and in season 9, James from VPR celebrated abstaining from alcohol for two years. Rumors about James’ new girlfriend began circulating several weeks after James and Raquel announced their breakup. In February, James from VPR posted a story on Instagram that showed him kissing an unidentified brunette. Several weeks later, James confirmed his new relationship on castmate Lala’s podcast, "Give Them Lala." While her IG is private, Ally's LinkedIn shows that she is no stranger to media or pop culture. She is a multimedia journalist who has worked in the entertainment industry in L.A. for four years.

Ally’s industry experience began early when, at 18 years old, she starred in Dayton, Ohio’s reality TV series The Valley, which followed Ally and five other recent high school graduates as they prepared to attend college. On the show, which aired in 2015, Vanderpump Rules star James Kennedy's future love interest Ally shared that she was excited about attending Belmont University. She was also making efforts to honor her late father discussing her desire to sing and make music. She went on to graduate from Belmont as an Entertainment Industry major, and thereafter moved to L.A. to do a series of showbiz jobs, including production assistant for 20th Century Fox, staff writer for The Hollywood Gossip, and on-air host for Afterbuzz TV.

While Ally hasn’t yet publicly spoken about her relationship with James from Vanderpump Rules, he has said plenty about their budding romance. Confirming on "Give Them Lala" that they met at a concert for his castmate Tom Sandoval’s band in January, he went on to share how his relationship with Ally was different, with regard to filming and the pace of the romance. He stated, "So with her, I’m taking my time, you know she gets to choose what she wants to do with that whole situation and then for me it’s like I have to decide as well."

In March, James and Ally went Instagram official after a trip to Tulum, during which James posted photos of the couple with the caption, "Only the most magical trip I’ve ever experienced in my entire life, here’s a little slide show of todays adventure… Share the love people! and the positivity! cause life’s too short." Most recently, James and Ally went red carpet official at the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Several months into their relationship, James and Ally seem like honeymooning lovebirds. For her part, Raquel from VPR is reportedly moving on with Shahs of Sunset star, Nema Vand. Many fans are wishing James, Ally, and Raquel the best, and hoping that all the drama will be captured on Vanderpump Rules Season 10.
