Lisa Vanderpump's new series Vanderpump Dogs premiered its first episode on the streaming service Peacock on June 9, and we are here to share information about this captivating show. Following Lisa's exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills during season nine, the reality star has had a number of television shows hit screens. Her first series Pooch Perfect, where she is a judge, was released in March 2021, followed by Overserved with Lisa Vanderpump. With the new season of Vanderpump Rules airing later this year, fans will soon be overloaded with LVP reality shows.

RHOBH viewers were introduced to Lisa during the first season's premiere episode. At the time, the 60-year-old was close friends with Kyle Richards. That friendship seemed unbreakable. The two managed to stay close through thick and thin, but the friendship turned into a feud after Kyle accused Lisa of leaking the infamous "Puppygate" storyline from season nine to the press. Since then, the women have barely spoken. They have ended their long-standing friendship. However, Lisa used "Puppygate" to her advantage by starring her own TV show about her dog rescue organization, Vanderpump Dogs.

The show is a docuseries that offers viewers a fun look inside the Vanderpump Dog Foundation, which is the RHOBH alum's nonprofit dog rescue. Every week, a new episode will stream, chronicling the adoptions that take place every day at the West Hollywood rescue. The series will show how Lisa and her colleagues help canines (via People). Her staff includes a long list of professionals who help the restauranteur to find the best owners for these adorable puppies. Dr. Andrew Y. Kushnir is their in-house veterinarian, who provides the news dogs coming into the rescue with exams, vaccinations, and plenty of love.

The Peacock reality series Vanderpump Dogs also features other staff members, including Brian Marshall (the stylist), Madeline Quint (a trainer), and  Kendall Young. Kendall became an employee after bringing her dog into the rescue for grooming services. Patrick Miller-Wren, the groomer, and Summer Loftis, the social media guru who uses her marketing skills to help find the best home for the puppies, are crucial to the Vanderpump Dogs team as well.

During a Zoom interview with Dog O’Day, the reality star promotes her new TV series. "It mainly focuses on the dogs and the people that are adopting them, and it’s the stories about the dogs – how they got there, and how it’s their second chance," she said. She added, "And it’s also about the people and their stories, so it’s basically who’s rescuing who." Lisa started the foundation in 2016 to help end the dog meat trade in China and wants it to be her legacy. From there, Lisa decided to open up her own rescue so she could take in and rehabilitate dogs.

Vanderpump Dogs will definitely be another hit series from LVP. For years, she has been working to create a safe space for neglected pooches. She is excited to see what this new show will provide for them in the future. Hopefully, viewers from around the country will feel inspired and adopt puppies of their own, whether from Vanderpump Dogs or their local dog rescues.
