In Vampire Survivors, players can unlock the new playable character Minnah as one of two secret characters added during the 0.7.2. patch. To unlock Minah, players should begin by completing the Lunar Eclipse event and collecting the Yellow Sign Relic, which can help uncover hidden items within stages. Players should also prepare for battle as they will need to defeat a hoard of enemies before they can unlock the new character.
In order to unlock Minnah, players should first try and unlock Mad Groove Arcana, although it is not strictly required. To begin, players should start a run on the Vampire Survivors Dairy Plant stage with Arcanas active. Once players are on the Dairy Plant, they should choose VIII - Mad Groove as their first Arcana. Players should discover that a Cheese Wheel appears to the Southwest of their starting position. Players should immediately collect the cheese and be prepared for an onslaught of seven Werewolf enemies. Players will need to defeat all seven enemies, and they will receive a notification indicating they successfully unlocked Minnah.
If players prefer to unlock Minnah without Arcana they can do so, although this method is more difficult without the use of Mad Groove Arcana or other forms of magic in Vampire Survivors. Players will still need to find and collect the Cheese Wheel on the Dairy Plant stage. Of note, players will not be able to find the Cheese Wheel using the Yellow Sign, which typically alerts players to hidden items in stages. Once players load the Diary Plant, they should open their map and search for a Floor Chicken symbol, which actually identifies the location of the hidden Cheese Wheel. If players are having trouble locating the secret item, they should search to the West of the Armor passive item. Once players have the Cheese Wheel, they will need to defeat seven Werewolf enemies to unlock Minnah.
Vampire Survivors: Minnah's Weapon and Abilities
Once players unlock Minnah, they will gain the character's weapon, Bloody Tear. The Bloody Tear is a weapon evolution in Vampire Survivors of the Whip and can deal Critical Hits that doubles the damage dealt while also restoring 8 HP. The weapon is particularly effective when combined with the Sarabande of Healing or Slash Arcana. The Sarabande of Healing doubles the player's healing, which grants them 16 HP per Critical Hit. Additionally, the weapon Slash Arcana will increase the player's total Critical damage.
As a character, Minnah has 50 additional HP for a total of 150 HP and increased recovery at a rate of 0.5. Of note, Minnah does have the downside of -70% Might, but that can be offset if players use the Might PowerUp and the Might passive item, which can be found as floor loot or from Level Up selection options. Additionally, as a secret character in Vampire Survivors, Minnah's passive ability allows the character to alter their Might, Projectile Speed, Duration, Area, and Cooldown once each minute. Players should expect Minnah's damage output to increase by approximately by 70% once the character reaches Level 25. In the meantime, players can choose to adjust Minnah's stats using PowerUps or passive items.
