Since May of 2009, a little indie game by the name of Minecraft, created by Markus "Notch" Persson, has taken the world by storm. More than ten years later, it has sold over 200 million copies and has an active player base of roughly 126 million as of May of this year.

With such a popular and influential game, it is certain to come with some of the best merch and toys as well. These toys range from incredible remote controlled units to LEGO sets with thousands of pieces, and with such a wide variety of different toys to choose from, it makes sense that some of them are much more valuable than others.

Minecraft RC Flying Ghast

Priced at $59.99, this frightening mob acts as both a quadcopter and a terror to all who come into its flight path. Just like the game, it can fly in all four directions and offers 360-degree turns, according to Mattel's website. Complete with a Netherrack inspired controller, this toy brings one of Minecraft's fiercest mobs to life. Sadly unlike the game, it cannot shoot fireballs from its mouth but is still capable of giving the feeling of traversing the dangers of the nether.

Minecraft Transforming Diamond Sword/Pickaxe

Ranging from $64 to $75 on eBay, this real-life retractable sword/pickaxe can make mining through even the toughest stone a breeze. Additionally, its pixelated design perfectly replicates the way it looks in-game, giving it a much more authentic look to the pixels it was based on. Luckily, this toy does not cost as much as diamonds would be sold for, making it one of the cheaper toys on this list.

Minecraft Stop Motion Movie Creator Playset

At $99 on Amazon, the Minecraft Stop Motion Playset accomplishes every Minecraft movie director's dream of creating their own stop motion movie in their own homes.

According to the Amazon description, the playset includes a movie stage, 4 interchangeable backgrounds, four character figures, a phone/tablet holder, and props. This toy is perfect for those players who want to create something not only in-game but out of it as well.

Minecraft Crafting Table

As any casual Minecraft player will tell you, the game is completely unplayable without the use of a trusty crafting table, and for only $249.99, players can purchase the real thing from Amazon. This real-life builder uses crafting cubes and instruction templates to recreate some of Minecraft's most iconic items, like diamond swords, potion bottles, and even the faces of some of its mobs, like the creeper. All it takes is assembling the crafting cubes in specific arrangements and then spraying the crafting sheet with water.

LEGO Minecraft The Ocean Monument

LEGO and Minecraft go together like skeletons and their bows, so it comes as no surprise how popular LEGO's Minecraft series of kits are. Priced at $229.95 on Amazon and with 1,122 pieces, the LEGO Minecraft Ocean Monument seeks to replicate the majesty of those hidden underwater temples, complete with a functioning treasure chamber, as well as guardian and elder guardian figures.

LEGO Minecraft The Ender Dragon

The Ender Dragon is Minecraft's final boss, a giant black dragon that draws health and power from the surrounding ender crystals that make out the landscape of her home. For $294.94, players can purchase a LEGO replica of not only the Ender Dragon, but her dragon egg, the ender crystals, and the obsidian pillars that house them. The set includes 634 pieces, which is fewer pieces than some of the other entries on the list, but the kit makes up for the lack of pieces with the blocky replica of the game's most infamous boss.

LEGO Minecraft The Fortress

At $354.88 on Amazon, the LEGO Minecraft Fortress kit is similar to the Ocean Monument kit of the previous entry but works to replicate an imposing fortress, complete with lookout towers, pressure plate doors, and skeleton mini-figures.

The kit has a total of 984 total pieces and is perfect for reenacting even the most intense of Minecraft's raids. At least the player knows that they will be well fortified in this base, ready to take on any aggressive mobs that might come their way.

LEGO Minecraft The Mine

Priced at $449.99, this discontinued LEGO Minecraft product brought fans of the game into the dark underground, where mineshafts full of riches and monsters lay undisturbed. This LEGO kit, with 922 pieces, included operating minecarts and tracks, which Steve and Alex could ride in to escape the hordes of creepers, zombies, skeletons, and spiders.

LEGO Minecraft The Village

For only $999.99, fans of Minecraft can recreate the feeling of stumbling onto one of the only friendly mobs in the game, the peaceful and sleepy homes of the villagers. With this LEGO set, players can build the library, blacksmith, and marketplace areas, and even have it guarded by their own iron golem to watch over everything.

LEGO Minecraft The Mountain Cave

Coming in at a whopping $1,981.63 on Walmart.com, this behemoth of a LEGO set is 2,863 pieces and replicates the intricate design of Minecraft's stunning mountain ranges. According to Amazon, the kit features a fully functioning minecart track with an integrated redstone-powered elevator, as well as a fully stocked mountaintop shelter complete with a bed, torch, and furnace to keep away those pesky mobs. Additionally, it includes several figures, including a spider, wolf, slime, bat, enderman, and charged creeper. Being LEGO's biggest Minecraft kit to date, it's no wonder why it's also their most expensive.
