One of the many features of the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok DLC is the several new armor sets. Each of the new armor sets come with their own benefits and characteristics for players. They can be found throughout the map of Svartalfheim.

The new Dawn of Ragnarok DLC in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla provides a mythical flair where players will fight frost giants and fiery Muspels. This new Odin-centric themed gameplay comes with many popular storylines for those familiar with Norse mythology. It is no surprise that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla provided some new armor sets with the Dawn of Ragnarok DLC to help players fight these mythical enemies.

The Dawn of Ragnarok DLC provides players with a total of five new armor sets. Each set comes with its own perk and provides the player with a second perk if the player wears the complete set together, since each set comes in five different pieces that can be mixed and matched. Below are the five new armor sets and what each one does for the player.

Each Of The Five New Armor Sets In AC Valhalla: Dawn Of Ragnarok

Assassins Creed Valhalla Dawn of Ragnarok

Since each Assassin’s Creed Valhalla armor set comes in five different pieces, the player must find each piece separately throughout Svartalfheim in armor chests.

Fire Giant Armor Set

  • Medium weight with high armor stats and low evasion stats.
  • Provides increased resistance to enemy melee attacks.
  • When wearing the full set, the added perk of increased melee damage when the weapon is on fire is given to the player.
  • Designed for melee-focused combat.

Dwarven Blacksmith Armor Set

  • Medium weight with high armor stats and low evasion stats.
  • Provides a general speed boost for quicker combat.
  • When wearing the full set, the added perk of increased armor when stunning an enemy is given to the player.
  • Designed for fast-paced combat with good maneuverability in Dawn of Ragnarok.

Jotun Armor Set

  • Medium weight with medium armor stats and medium evasion stats.
  • The armor pieces require the player to defeat the five Suttungr's Outriders across Svartalfheim rather than finding them in chests.
  • Wearing the full set also allows the player to enter the Jotun portal at the Midalstilfa Dam in Svaladal. The player will enter a boss fight, where a unique weapon can be unlocked.
  • When wearing the full set, the player will get increased melee resistance and the armor is increased each time an ability is used.
  • Designed for players that like to use abilities in combat.

Odin the All-Father Armor Set

  • Lightweight with high armor stats and high evasion stats.
  • Provides generally increased headshot damage.
  • When wearing the full set, the player is granted with a chance of increased adrenaline gain when hitting weak points or headshots.
  • Designed for players that prefer ranged-centric combat involving bows.
  • Each armor piece costs 1200 tokens and can be purchased from Kara the Valkyrie at her arena.
  • Only armor set that requires to be purchased.

Hriedmar Cursed Armor Set

  • The full armor set can be found in one location, but it is cursed for the player and will cause damage until all five Motsognir Clarity Runes are found and inserted into each piece of the armor to break the curse.
  • With the full Blessed armor set equipped in Dawn of Ragnarok, Critical Hits will heal the player 20%, but Rations will heal the player 50% less than normal.
  • Nearby enemies will be damaged when the player heals with Rations.
  • Lightweight with high armor stats and high evasion stats.

Each of these armor sets have their own requirements for finding or purchasing them for the player. They also have their own unique perks and advantages. However, no matter how the player wishes to play the game, these new armor sets in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok will do the trick.
