Val Chmerkovskiy fired back at Kanye West's Dancing With the Stars diss, and included Kim Kardashian in his response. The beef stems from a set of lyrics on West's latest album release, Jesus Is King.

Chmerkovskiy has a lot of spare time now, following his and partner Sailor Brinkley Cook's surprise elimination in season 28. Fans who follow the dance pro can see what he's been up to on his spare time. Chmerkovskiy has taken issue with Kanye's new song "Oh God" which has the lyric, "That’s why I charge the prices that I charge/ I can’t be out here dancin’ with the stars." However, Chmerkovskiy is pointing out the obvious that Kanye shouldn't be dissing the celebrity dance competition becuase his wife, Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star, Kim was on the competition back in 2008 on the 7th season. Not to mention Kanye's now brother-in-law, Rob Kardashian, was a contestant back in 2011 on season 13. Chmerkovskiy hit back at Kanye in a hilarious reaction to the song has played out in an over-the-top Instagram post.

A shirtless Chmerkovskiy sits in what looks like his home, with a tiny man-bun in his hair. He put his rudimentary graphic design skills to use in the video, adding a retracting Kanye head in the upper right corner of the screen with a gif. He lip-syncs along with the track, until the offending lyrics blast under the scene. Then a discerning look creeps across his face. From there, Chmerkovskiy's video clip detours into art-house fare with a provocative photo of Kim grinding into partner Mark Ballas on the Dancing With the Stars ballroom floor. Chmerkovskiy captioned his post, "That new Ye album got me in my feelings.. #kanyewest #yeezy #dwts #beefstronganoff #shotsfired #drake #dontatme #lol" - See Chmerkovskiy's video below:

Chmerkovskiy isn't the first celebrity to spar with Kanye in the public eye. Rapper Drake had a well-documented feud with the hip hop and fashion mogul. Kanye and his one-time collaborator Jay-Z have also spoken about their troubled relationship. Chmerkovskiy may genuinely think the lyrics are disrespectful. He could also be defending Dancing With the Stars to curry favor and avoid the same fate that befell former cast member Artem Chigvintsev - who was unceremoniously dumped from the pros lineup of the long-running show. A little social media relevance might endear him to producers and keep his name in the cultural lexicon and on the show's leaderboard.

Even though this latest beef is all in good fun, taking shots at Kanye is also old news. However, the mutual digs are adding a layer of exposure to all parties involved, so it's great for Jesus Is King, Chmerkovskiy, and Dancing With the Stars.
