Glass is a Reagent in V Rising, primarily used for crafting Castle Structures and other decorative pieces of architecture. This Reagent can be prepared in a Furnace, or it can be looted from enemy mobs at specific landmarks. However, the Recipe for Glass is initially unavailable and can only be unlocked by defeating a V Blood enemy known as Christina the Sun Priestess.

Christina is a Boss in V Rising, located in Dawnbreak Village of Dunley Farmlands. Vampire travelers can find this hamlet up the road north of the Dunley Farmlands Waygate to the east. It should be mentioned that while her "lair" is in the northwestern section of Dawnbreak Village, the Sun Priestess is known to roam the trails of Dunley Farmlands between Dawnbreak and Mosswick Village. Therefore, if players cannot find Christina in a settlement, they will need to search the roads for her. If the fight takes place in Dawnbreak Village, players are recommended to take down the nearby elite Nun enemies first. Keep in mind that the Sun Priestess is a Level 44 enemy, and those that aim to face her should be sufficiently leveled and geared.

Once Christina the Sun Priestess has been slain, Vampires will be rewarded with the Glass Recipe in V Rising. Players will also learn the Purgatory Vampire Power, including how to make the Empty Glass Bottle, Holy Resistance Potion, and Blood Rose Potion.

Unlocking Farming and Crafting Glass In V Rising and Farming Location

Now that V Rising fans have the required Recipe, they can cook Quartz ×20 in a Furnace to produce a single pane of Glass. To speed up the crafting process and conserve resources, players are recommended to place the Furnace in a confined Castle room and ensure the surrounding floors are matching.

While their Quartz is cooking in the Furnace, V Rising Vampires can further increase their Glass income by farming enemy mobs within the Dunley Monastery, north of Mosswick Village in Dunley Farmlands. A holy aura protects this landmark, so adventurers will need to brew and consume the Holy Resistance Potions they learned from Christina before entering the monastery. Once inside, V Rising players can slay enemies and loot containers to gain an abundance of Quartz and Glass. Be wary that many of the enemies are leveled at 50+. Once all the hostiles are dead, Vampires can gather from several Quartz nodes located near the landmark's western plaza and the western rear of the Dunley Monastery. This strategy should net players dozens of Glass and hundreds of Quartz.
