The hilarious Schitt's Creek ran for six seasons and in that time, viewers witnessed the antics of the Rose family and the other citizens of the titular town, getting to know the characters on-screen and enjoying the performances of the actors who played them.

With no spinoff or movie in the works as of this article's publishing, fans are eager to see some of their favorite performers in more projects. Some of the projects have a very different tone from Schitt's Creek, so viewers can watch the actors display their range and talents in their new films and television shows.

The story of the Rose family stranded in the small town of Schitt's Creek brought hilarious moments as well as heart-wrenching ones. Fans can stream the series over and over to see the Schitt's Creek cast, but they can also be on the lookout for upcoming shows and movies the cast is a part of in the future. 

Dan Levy - The Big Brunch

Dan Levy played everyone's favorite character, David Rose. David had some of the most lovable quotes throughout Schitt's Creek and saw some incredible growth as a character. While he was once selfish and out-of-touch, he grew into an understanding man who ended up loving Schitt's Creek.

When Schitt's Creek wrapped, Levy appeared in Happiest Season and Q-Force. But as a producer, Levy has a project in the works called The Big Brunch. The cooking competition series is in pre-production and set to come out this year. Levy created it, produced it, and will star as the host.

Sarah Levy - Patty's Auto

Sarah Levy played the incredible side character, Twyla Sands. Twyla was lovable but naive and acted as the town's main waitress at Cafe Tropical. While she didn't always understand Alexis or the Rose family, she grew to love them and became very close to Alexis in particular.

Levy has been busy since Schitt's Creek ended. She had appearances in United We Fall, All Rise, and she starred in SurrealEstate. Next up for Sarah Levy is a TV series called Patty's Auto. Since the show was just announced, there's no projected air date yet.

Dustin Milligan - Mack & Rita (And More)

A big part of Dustin Milligan's character, Ted, on Schitt's Creek was his relationship timeline with Alexis. Ted was a local vet who fell for Alexis instantly. He loved her so much that he proposed to her a few weeks after meeting her. Alexis toyed around with Ted until she was ready to commit and eventually, because of Ted, Alexis learned what real love was.

In 2021, Milligan starred as Josh Carter in the series Rutherford Falls. But fans of Milligan can get ready to see him in 2022's Mack & Rita — a movie with big names in it like Diane Keaton, Simon Rex, and Wendi Malick. Milligan also has another project in the works that is in post-production, The People We Hate at the Wedding.

Noah Reid - Outer Range (And More)

Patrick Brewer was David's friend, business partner, and eventual husband in Schitt's Creek. There were plenty of endearing moments that proved David and Patrick were soulmates, and fans were thrilled they got their happily ever after.

After Schitt's Creek, Noah Reid's music career took off. On top of performing live for fans, he's in an upcoming TV series that's in post-production called Outer Range. And while there's no release date yet, Reid is also in a short called Pet Therapy. 

Eugene Levy - No Upcoming Projects In 2022

Johnny Rose had one of the best character arcs of any of the main Schitt's characters. Eugene Levy played the perfect Johnny Rose; a hardworking husband and father of two who tried to save his family from ruin when they lost it all.

Outside of Schitt's Creek, Levy is an icon in the comedy world and has been acting since the '70s. When Schitt's Creek ended in 2020, Levy dove into Star-Crossed: The Film and more recently, the animated movie Back Home Again. According to his IMDb, Levy doesn't currently have anything in the works for 2022.

Annie Murphy - Praise Petey

Known for her role in Schitt's Creek as Alexis Rose, Annie Murphy has gained a following for her hilarious and, at times, sincerely heartfelt performance. Alexis' quirks made her a fan favorite. After Schitt's Creek Murphy starred in Russian Doll, which debuted in 2019 and follows Nadia Vulvokov as she tries to understand why she is stuck in a time loop and attempts to escape it.

The show gained critical acclaim and has received praise for the performances of the main cast, especially Natasha Lyonne. After Russian Doll's second season, Annie is now the voice of Petey in the animated movie Praise Petey. The bio on IMDb described the movie as "Follows a New York City girl who has it all until her life comes crashing down around her." The film is currently in pre-production.

Catherine O'Hara - Argylle

Though her part in the film has not yet been publicly revealed, Catherine O'Hara will be playing a role in the upcoming Argylle. The film is adapted from a novel written by Ellie Conway, and it follows a spy who has amnesia and must regain their memories while pursuing their former employer for revenge.

The spy film is set to be an exciting adventure featuring an excellent cast. Even though Catherine O'Hara's character in the film is currently unknown, she will inevitably give a stellar performance, as evidenced by some of the best Moira episodes of Schitt's CreekArgylle will likely come out in late 2022.

Emily Hampshire - The Rig (And More)

Perhaps one of the most beloved characters from Schitt's Creek is Stevie Budd, portrayed by Emily Hampshire. In 2022, she will be playing a starring role in the series The Rig as Rose Mason. The show follows the crew of an oil rig as communications have ceased between them and the mainland to which they are meant to return.

Outside of The Rig, Hampshire is also a part of three projects that are currently in post-production: The End of Sex, The Mattachine Family, and Home. All projects are set to release in 2022. On top of those, Hampshire recently announced that she'll be a part of the TV series Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman remake as the series lead.

Jennifer Robertson - Hello, Goodbye, And Everything In Between

Jennifer Robertson was excellent in her portrayal of Jocelyn Schitt and contributed to her being one of the best side characters on Schitt's Creek. Her hilarious and lovable energy resonated with many viewers and turned her into a fan favorite.

After the series ended, Robertson was in the holiday film Single All the Way. This year, Robertson can be found in the thriller Crawlspace, along with season 2 of Netflix's popular series, Ginny & Georgia. In the future, fans can be on the lookout for Robertson in the upcoming comedy-drama Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between.

Chris Elliott - Maggie (And More)

In Schitt's Creek, Chris Elliott played the role of Roland Schitt, the mayor of the titular town. Fans have loved his portrayal of the character, even if Roland was often a nuisance to those around him. Roland had some of the most hilarious quotes throughout Schitt's Creek.

Elliott had a prominent role in Christmas vs. The Walters, which comes out in November 2021. In 2022, Elliot has two projects in post-production: a show called Maggie and a movie called Redville. 

Karen Robinson - Echoes (And More)

In Schitt's Creek, Karen Robinson played the character Ronnie Lee, who quickly became a character that Schitt's fans wanted more of. Luckily for viewers, they can see her in the upcoming miniseries Echoes. The show follows twins who live double lives by consistently impersonating one another until one of them goes missing.

Karen Robinson plays Sheriff Louise Floss, and though it is not yet clear how large of a role the character will play, fans of Robinson's excellent performance in Schitt's Creek will surely enjoy her portrayal. Echoes should debut sometime in 2022. Robinson is also set to be in the series The Missing as Captain Helen Davies.
