Experimental game developer Samperson created a new program that enables a menacing goose to roam and disturb the peace of the downloader's Windows desktop based on the infamous goose from Untitled Goose Game. Untitled Goose Game quickly became one of the biggest hits for indie games in the last few years. Players control a terrorizing goose that roams a simple village, in this puzzle/stealth game. As the goose, players have a list of objectives to complete that torment the villagers in a number of ways.

It is up to the players to figure out how to complete certain missions, sometimes making for a challenging puzzle. For example, one of the goose's many missions is to break a dart board. In the area, there is an old man playing darts. What players have to figure out is that if the honk is timed perfectly, the old man will get scared and throw his dart incorrectly, breaking the board. The game encourages creativity and having the mind of a menacing goose, so sometimes players have to do some pretty mean things.

Untitled Goose Game was so popular that it created a ton of memes and buzz for geese in general. According to PC Gamer, VR game developer Samperson created a new program that features a similarly menacing goose to terrorize those who have downloaded it. Once the download is complete, a goose appears on the desktop and immediately starts causing havoc. The goose will steal the downloader's mouse away from them and drag in goose memes at inconvenient times. It will write comical messages and notes to be left on the desktop. The goose can track mud across the desktop screen, making a mess. But most importantly, the goose will honk.

Samperson based the goose off the Untitled Goose Game version, making it equally as chaotic neutral as its predecessor. They both steal in the same way, but they both also bring happiness and joy to those around them. Samperson's horrible goose is available to download on itch.io and will take any amount of donation as purchase.

Samperson's goose would be very fun for the first hour after download, but the novelty of stealing a player's mouse would quickly go from funny to annoying and possibly even harmful, so it's best to employ the desktop goose with excessive caution. While the goose's honks and waddles may be adorable, don't be fooled, it is vicious and it will torment anyone it can until that uninstall button is clicked.
