The latest season of Unsolved Mysteries includes plenty of case evidence for streamers to investigate, and now dozens of unaired clips have sparked new theories. On Reddit, Netflix created a public drive that's full of previously-unreleased videos, images, and relevant case information for the six new episodes that released on July 1, 2020.

Netflix's Unsolved Mysteries captures the spirit of the original series, but differs with its overall structure. Instead of highlighting three cases per episode, the docuseries dedicates each chapter to one specific investigation. For example, "Mystery on the Rooftop" centers on the mysterious death of Baltimore native Rey Rivera, who dies after falling from an unknown location. "13 Minutes" details the sudden disappearance of Patrice Endres, and "House of Terror" is a France-based case about a French aristocrat who allegedly murdered his wife and four children. "Missing Witness" examines the disappearance of 20-year-old Lena Chapin, and "Berkshire’s UFO" will appeal to long-time Unsolved Mysteries fans due to its supernatural premise.

The most intriguing Unsolved Mysteries episode on Netflix is arguably "No Ride Home," a disturbing account of Alonzo Brooks' 2004 death after attending a suspicious house party. Online sleuths have been working hard to crack cases, and viewers have provided authorities with credible leads for each featured case. With the addition of the Unsolved Mysteries evidence that Netflix decided not to air, viewers have even more material to investigate.

Mystery On The Rooftop

Mystery on the Rooftop

In the unaired clips for "Mystery on the Rooftop," interviewees address the theory that the victim Rey Rivera was dropped from a helicopter. The idea is rejected by an investigator who cites "airspace issues" and believes that it would have been more practical to drop Rivera's body in the nearby harbor, just 30 seconds away by helicopter. The unreleased clips also show that Rivera reached to a local freemason on the day of his disappearance, presumably to become part of a secret organization. Rivera's wife also discusses a missing money clip, and states that a mysterious note left by her husband was "shrunken," and was probably written shortly before he went missing.

13 Minutes

Unsolved Mysteries Patrice Enders husband rob

The Patrice Endres case file doesn't include any major reveals. In fact, the three clips are similar to what was actually aired, but they do appear to have been edited differently. Investigators briefly reference a missing wedding ring, along with "guilty knowledge information" that is referenced in the episode. Overall, there's not much added material to investigate.

House Of Terror

House of Terror

The Dupont de Ligonnès file reveals that the focal crime(s) mirror those by John List, an American who evaded authorities for 18 years after killing his wife and three children. A Netflix interviewee states that the cases are "madly similar," and that Xavier most likely learned about List during a trip to America. Beyond that, the videos show interviewees discussing Xavier's motivations, with one stating that French sightings of the alleged killer are an "insult to his intelligence," presumably because he would've chosen to stay in his native country.

No Ride Home

Unsolved Mysteries No Ride Home

The Alonzo Brooks file includes several clips that are similar to sequences in the Netflix episode. The victim's friends discuss various online rumors and theories, and authorities recall their initial search. The most intriguing clip references the fact that four men were evicted from the house where Brooks disappeared. Beyond that, there's little evidence to analyze.

Berkshires UFO

The Berkshire case file doesn't include much, aside from an interviewee's revelation that crafts had allegedly been spotted in the area during both 1966 and 1967. It's also revealed that all of the late '60s sightings took place in September. However, there's no evidence to fuel any a theories about a possible cover-up, aside from that fact that locals called into a radio station to report a UFO, which is thoroughly explained in the aired episode.

Missing Witness

Unsolved Mysteries - Missing Witness Lena Chaplin Episode

The Lena Chapin file includes the most amount of unaired footage. One of the clips suggests that the 20-year-old Chapin may have tried to mislead authorities. Specifically, an investigator reveals that the late Gary McCullough's vehicle was littered with trash prior to his sudden disappearance, however Chapin later claimed to have once hidden on the floor of the vehicle around the time he went missing. There are also audio clips of Lena stating that Gary was "completely burned" (literally burned and killed)and that she actually burned her finger tips while picking up "ashes and bones."
