Yoshi can be saved in Super Mario Sunshine. This guide will help players unlock them. Yoshi has been Mario's main pet and companion since Super Mario World back on the Super Nintendo. Mario is able to ride Yoshi and use a variety of its abilities like being able to eat enemies, spit fire, fly, or be super heavy. In Super Mario Sunshine, Yoshi is used for spitting out the juice that will melt away certain barriers hidden around Isle Delfino. The only issue here is that Mario will need to save Yoshi before he can ride him. This guide will help players unlock Yoshi in Super Mario Sunshine.

How To Unlock Yoshi in Super Mario Sunshine

To unlock Yoshi, players must first complete episode four of Pinna Park. It's the episode where Mario has to get rid of the Koopa Troopas in the park. Once this is done, head back to Delfino Plaza to find Shadow Mario holding a Yoshi Egg. Chase him down and spray him with Fludd until he collapses. The egg will remain in this location with a small image of which fruit it wants to hatch. Head to the fruit market by the beach and grab the fruit that the Yoshi demands. Bring it to the egg and it will hatch into Yoshi. Now, Yoshi will appear on the roof every time Mario needs them. Be careful though, this version of Yoshi will die the moment it falls into deep water.

Super Mario Sunshine is one of the best games on the Nintendo Gamecube. This marks the first time since the original release where this title has received a re-release. While there are no major changes to the game itself, it has been done in HD bringing out the already beautiful art style. This is still one of the best 3D Mario titles to date.
