As players journey through the new zones of Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, they will need to complete several Dungeons to progress in the story, and the second one they must enter is the Tower of Babil. Constructed by the enthralled minions of Fandaniel and Zenos, the tower overlooks the remains of a Garlean imperial palace. Players must infiltrate the Dungeon and lead a direct assault on the Telophoroi forces in FFXIV: Endwalker. Therefore, the Tower of Babil is unlocked as a part of the MSQ, which means players do not need to search for an optional side questline to access the Dungeon.

To enter the Tower of Babil in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, adventurers will need to complete the prerequisite quest, "In from the Cold" in Garlemald. In addition, the following main quest, "Gateway of the Gods," will unlock access to the tower. To accept this Level 83 quest, players must speak to Lucia in Camp Broken Glass at X:14.0, Y:29.5.

After talking with Lyse and Pipin, FFXIV fans can use the Duty Finder to begin the Tower of Babil Dungeon. Alternatively, players can use Shadowbringer's Trust System, which allows fans to enter MSQ Dungeons with a party of allied NPCs. By interacting with the NPCs standing near the Dungeon's entrance, FFXIV fans will be given the option to create a group and go into the Tower of Babil.

How to Beat The Tower of Babil in FFXIV

FFXIV Guide to Unlocking The Tower of Babil

The enemies that players will encounter in the tower will be difficult, so preparing the proper Item Level gear, consumables, and job action layout in advance is paramount. After battling through the minor mobs in the beginning section, FFXIV adventurers will face Barnabas, the first boss of Tower of Babil. To defeat Barnabas, players will need to be wary of his "polarity" abilities. He is able to push and pull FFXIV party members towards himself while unleashing arena-sized AoE attacks. Whenever Barnabas targets a single player, the rest of the team must huddle with the target to evenly spread the damage received. The key to beating Barnabas is smart positioning in the arena.

Lugae, the second boss in the Tower of Babil, is equipped with explosive AoE attacks and summoning abilities. Fortunately, his moves become fairly predictable; however, players must be careful not to lose focus when they are turned into frogs during the fight.

The final boss of the Dungeon is Anima, a monstrous elder primal in Final Fantasy XIV. Anima's boss battle has two phases, and if players wish to overcome this fight, they must always keep a close eye on which boss attack is occurring and where they should be positioned in the arena. Anima also has a few abilities that can almost wipe the party, so be sure to have shields and healing spells ready when the time comes.
