Players can either kill Constant where they stand to complete their contract, or they have the ability to inject them with a serum that causes him to lose all of his memory. Both choices are completely up to the player and they can go back and select the other option at any time to see the other ending. The secret ending takes place in the climax of the story when facing Constant. As mentioned, the player has two options. Either kill Constant or wipe his memories with the serum. To unlock the hidden third option, players will need to pick up the mind erase serum and hold on to it for about a minute. After the minute goes by, Constant will suggest that Agent 47 take the serum. The player can then take inject themselves with it, causing Agent 47 to lose all of his memories. Without getting into the secret ending's spoilers, it is a notable callback to a previous entry of the series.

Hitman 3 has been one of the best entries in the series so far. The game allows players to tackle any problem with the solution they come to. It can be pretty much anything with the way the game rewards players for thinking outside of the box. The secret ending doesn't seem to be the canon one, but rather a nice throwback to the origins of the series. It will be interesting to see where the series can go from here.
