Sports icon and movie star LeBron James is joining the fight against the Alien Invasion in Fortnite Season 7 as a new playable character. In addition to popular fictional characters like the DC and Marvel superheroes and villains, Lara Croft, and The Mandalorian, Fortnite has frequently introduced real-world celebrities as cosmetics players can unlock and use in a match through their Icon Series. Past entries in the Icon Series have included rapper Travis Scott, streamer Ninja, and athlete Neymar Jr. There are multiple outfits for LeBron James that players can unlock this week in Fortnite, including his Tune Squad uniform ahead of the upcoming Space Jam sequel.

The LeBron James cosmetics and gear are only available via the Fortnite Item Shop and cannot be earned by playing matches or completing challenges. There are several quests associated with the base skin that will allow players to unlock gold accents in up to 20 variations. The Tune Squad outfit is usually sold separately from the basic LeBron James skin but can also be unlocked via the cosmetic bundle. Players will need to wait a few days before they can get the Fortnite LeBron James cosmetics, including the Tune Squad outfitThe sets will arrive in the Fortnite Item Shop on July 14, 2021, around midnight UTC and 5 p.m. PST. The Tune Squad costume is separate from the basic skin.

The LeBron James Tune Squad uniform in Fortnite also comes with a secondary casual style called Taco Tuesday. The basketball legend can sport a more comfortable pair of cargo shorts and a T-shirt with a taco design on the front and a special pair of colorful Nike LeBron 19 basketball shoes. Players will also receive the Pack Supreme Back Bling that goes with the Taco Tuesday style. It is not yet clear whether players need to purchase the base skin before they access this style variant.

If players don't want to purchase the Tune Squad uniform and Taco Tuesday alternate style separately, they can also get it as part of the King James Bundle. This bundle contains every single cosmetic for this Icon Series set, including:

  • Wingspan Glider and Alternate Style
  • The Silencer Emote

Epic Games has not yet released information about the cost of the LeBron James Fortnite cosmetics or the King James Bundle. Usually, outfits and gear in the Icon Series have sold in the Fortnite Item Shop for between 1,500 and 2,000 V-Bucks, so it is reasonable for fans to expect these will cost at least that much. Other sets in the Series have sold for 2,500 V-Bucks in the past, so it is reasonable to expect the King James Bundle to cost at least that much.
