Fortnite x Dragon Ball looks to be one of Fortnite's biggest crossover events yet, with Epic teaming up with the creators of the hit anime series to bring dozens of Dragon Ball-themed quests, rewards, and premium character skins to Fortnite. Over the next two weeks, Fortnite players will be able to enjoy lots of Dragon Ball content in their favorite battle royale, including new Creative Islands where they can watch episodes of Dragon Ball and explore iconic locations from the series, as well as the new limited-time Tournament of Power Competitive playlist. Fortnite x Dragon Ball was highly anticipated and fans of both will likely be very happy with the content on offer. However, some players will really want to look the part when enjoying this new stuff and using skins based on iconic Dragon Ball characters can help them do that.

The new Power Unleashed! tab has plenty of rewards that players can earn for free, including Sprays, Emotes (including a very cool Power Up emote), and a unique Back Bling and Glider. However, players looking for Dragon Ball character skins will have to turn to the Fortnite Item Shop instead, where Son Goku, Vegeta, Bulma and Beerus are all available for anyone willing to spend their hard-earned V-Bucks.

At least players can now unleash the Kamehameha in Fortnite without paying money, as Goku’s iconic move is now a lootable item in-game. However, it’s worth mentioning that bundles are available for players who want to unlock the Dragon Ball character skins without spending lots of V-Bucks. Fortnite currently has skins based on 4 iconic Dragon Ball characters: Goku, Vegeta, Bulma, and Beerus. Sadly, Frieza apparently hasn’t made the cut, but players can still see what’s currently on offer here:

Unlocking Goku In Fortnite

Fortnite’s Goku skin has four selectable Styles, including Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan Blue, and Ultra Instinct. The skin itself comes bundled as a set which also contains the Power Pole (Nyoibo) Pickaxe and Back Bling, as well as Goku’s Charging Up emote. The skin itself is nice and unlike other premium content such as the Wolverine skin in Fortnite’s Crew Membership program, it has transformations. Players can actually use Goku’s Charging Up emote to transform between the Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan Blue, and Ultra Instinct Styles, allowing players to recreate Goku’s iconic transformations in-game.

This costs 2,000 V-Bucks, which isn’t cheap. However, players looking to save some V-Bucks can get the Goku and Beerus Bundle for 2,700 V-Bucks, which includes everything listed above plus the Beerus cosmetics and an Epic Power Unleashed Loading Screen.

Unlocking Vegeta In Fortnite

Much like Goku, Fortnite’s Vegeta skin has four selectable Styles, including Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan Blue, and Super Saiyan Blue Evolved. Also bundled with the skin is Vegeta’s Charging Up emote, which works in the same way as Goku’s and lets players transform between the different styles. Skins with transformations are exceedingly rare; even Fortnite’s Darth Vader skin doesn’t come with them included.

This will cost players 1,800 V-Bucks, a little less than Goku as the Vegeta skin doesn’t include a unique Pickaxe or Back Bling. Players looking to save can get the Vegeta and Bulma Bundle for 2,300 V-Bucks, which includes everything listed above plus the Bulma cosmetics.

Unlocking Bulma And Beerus In Fortnite

Bulma and Beerus are also available in the Item Shop for 1,200 and 1,500 V-Bucks respectively. Bulma’s skin has two selectable Styles: Bulma and Lab Coat Bulma but doesn’t come bundled with any extra emotes or cosmetics.

Beerus’ skin doesn’t have any alternate Styles but includes The Seer Fish Back Bling. These characters still cost a lot individually, so interested players might want to opt for the Goku and Beerus or Vegeta and Bulma bundles instead. Getting free Fortnite V-Bucks can take a lot of work, so players should try and save as much as possible.

Other items include the Nimbus Cloud (Nintoun) and Space Pod Gliders (800 V-Bucks each), Kamesennin's Staff pickaxe and Kamesennin's Shell Back Bling (600 V-Bucks), and Fusion! Hah!! emote (400-V-Bucks) are also available in the shop. The Fusion emote is likely to be a must-have for some Dragon Ball fans as it's synced and can only be performed together with another player. The Dragon Ball Gear Bundle includes all this stuff for 1,800 V-Bucks. Fortnite really went all out with these Dragon Ball crossover items.
