The multiplayer is arguably the biggest aspect of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. This guide will show how players can create their own custom class. Ever since Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare back on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox 360, the Call of Duty franchise put itself on the map on a global scale. The series exploded in popularity, selling millions of copies with every new yearly release. A large part of this was the competitive online multiplayer experience where players can join friends and take down enemy teams in a variety of game modes. Building your own custom loadout is part of that experience and this guide will show how players can unlock the ability to create a custom class.

Creating a custom class allows players to deck out every aspect of their gameplay experience on the battlefield. From the weapon type, secondary weapon, throwable items, perks, and even the skins that deck out each weapon, all of these are unlockable as the player continues through the multiplayer. Some players may enjoy taking games a bit slower and opt for a sniper class while others might want a shotgun to remain close and in the action. Create a class allows players to create multiple classes that they can alternate between in games. Here's how players can unlock this feature.

To unlock Create A Class, the player will first need to reach level 4 in their online multiplayer rank. To do this, players will need to participate in the online multiplayer for a few matches with the preset classes readily available. Reaching level 4 should only take players a few games of whatever game mode of their choice. Within the first hour of the players, time in multiplayer, level 4 should be reached, and Create A Class will be unlocked.

The selection of weapons at the beginning will be scarce at the beginning but more will be available as the player continues to get online and play more games. This includes unlocking attachments, which are unlocked by using a specific weapon during matches and getting kills or claiming objectives. The online multiplayer will always be a massive part of the Call of Duty experience. Activision even came forward with a free battle royale title earlier this year that was a massive hit and brought back many players into the series. The next competitive season is also revving up to begin later this December. Better start creating those classes to be ready for the upcoming storm.
